Your role in our mission

• Analyzes client requests for proposals and applies advanced subject matter knowledge to solve complex business issues
• Adheres to and supports Configuration team approach and other configuration principles, methodologies, and practices
• Works closely with the implementation team to analyze and document client's business requirements and processes. Communicates these requirements by constructing configuration deliverables
• Research and define solutions for new configuration, legislation, or client rules.
• Creates and presents solution, proof of concept, or testing results to customer for new business processes or outcome requests.
• Completes configuration within schedule timelines and configuration best practices.

What we're looking for

  • Four or more years’ experience configuring in Medicaid Financial Systems:
    • General Ledgers
    • Fund Allocation Business Rules/Logic
    • Calculating Capitation Payments
    • Accounts Receivables and Payables
  • Experience with Configuration Implementation Build & Maintenance
  • Understands relational database concepts and schemas
  • Experience writing SQL queries for data analysis
  • Experience working with Financial Medicaid/MMIS systems.  Preferred experience includes DDI (Design, Development, and Implementation) and operations phases
  • Analyzes business purpose and needs, conceptualizes, and prepares solutions and related documentation to support new reports development and/or client-required financial reporting, analyses, and reconcilements.
  • Configures the Finance Manager solution components (e.g., Flexi, Business Rules Engine (Corticon™), gap reference tables (HealthPAS_Common DB), etc).
  • Prepares FM Configuration Matrices based upon client’s business and technical needs.
  • Experience with double-entry accounting software applications (Flexi Financials preferred)
  • Experience in commercial or governmental financial services, especially insurance and/or healthcare administration.
  • Ensures FM controls, business processes, procedures, and overall solutions are in compliance with laws, rules, regulations, and standards (e.g., Title 42 Code of Federal Regulations, CMS MITA, State policies, US GAAP, FASB, GASB, etc).
  • Experience paying Medicaid claims and ability to troubleshoot Fund Allocation (FMAP) results
  • Experience with Requirement Traceability Matrices.
  • Preferred experience working with HP Application Lifecycle Management (ALM)
