Summary

We are seeking a seeking a highly motivated Healthcare Compliance Inspector to join our team and play a vital role in preventing fraud within the Medicaid system.

Your role in our mission

  • Conduct Site Visits: Verify the legitimacy and operational capabilities of high-risk Medicaid providers through on-site and virtual visits.
  • Schedule & Coordinate: Schedule appointments with providers, ensuring smooth communication and visit coordination.
  • Assess & Document: Perform comprehensive site visits, verifying location, signage, and facility capabilities for stated services. Capture photographic evidence for in-person visits.
  • Report & Upload: Document visit findings clearly using standardized templates and upload documentation to the State Uniform Reporting System (SURS).
  • Maintain Communication: Maintain clear and concise communication with providers throughout the entire process.

What we're looking for

  • Communication Master: Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, to effectively interact with diverse audiences.
  • Organizational Expert: Ability to confidently make calls, schedule meetings, and request information from providers.
  • Detail-Oriented: Meticulous eye for detail and a commitment to documenting visit results accurately and objectively.
  • Travel Ready: Ability to travel to the office at 1 West Wilson, Madison, WI, and to healthcare provider locations throughout the state (valid driver's license required).
  • Tech-Savvy: Proficiency in using computers and a willingness to learn new software systems.
  • Experience working within the healthcare industry.
  • Familiarity with Medicaid regulations and compliance procedures.

What you should expect in this role

This position is primarily office-based at 1 West Wilson, Madison, WI, with travel required for in-person site visits throughout Wisconsin.

The pay range for this position is $54,300.00 - $77,500.00 per year, however, the base pay offered may vary depending on geographic region, internal equity, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience among other factors.
