Your role in our mission

• At Gainwell Technologies we build innovative technologies and solutions to deliver better health and human services outcomes to our customer. 
• Our offering spans Medicaid Management, Care Quality and Cost Containment, Human Services and Public Health, Pharmacy Solutions, Systems Integration, Interoperability and Analytics.
• The opportunity is for an Application Developer in Product Development. Our new offering will target the Healthcare market and align with our corporate strategy. You will have the opportunity to shape, build and grow a new product offering while influencing the go to market and road map.

What we're looking for

•    Experience with enterprise-level applications and cloud-based services, in Amazon AWS.
•    Three to five years of experience in a Cloud Engineer role or related position, specifically with AWS.
•    Knowledge of AWS IaaS and PaaS services.
•    Experience working with automation in Windows and AWS.
•    Preferred Certification as an AWS Solutions Architect, Cloud Security Certification a plus, but not required. (Other cloud-related certification also a plus.)
•    Experience with AWS monitoring and alerting tools.
•    Experience with AWS DR tools such as AWS Elastic Disaster Recovery and/or Cloud Endure.
•    Experience in networking and internet protocols such as, TCP/IP, DNS, SMTP, HTTP, and dis-tributed networks.
•    Familiar with how to optimize configuration management and server deployment using auto-mation and DevOps, with a strong preference towards CloudFormation and Terraform.
•    in-depth Knowledge, understanding and experience of working on Linux, AWS CLI and scripting Linux, Python to name a few.
•    hands-on work experience on DevOps tools (Jenkins).
•    Experience with cloud security concepts and best practices techniques and procedures.
•    experience with virtualization using Hypervisor.
•    Good understanding of Cost Optimization techniques.
•    Familiar with cloud monitoring & operational performance tools.
•    Proven knowledge of DNS functionality, Websites hosting & Routing.
•    Ability to stay focused on completing tasks and meeting goals within a busy workspace.
•    Skilled at working in tandem with a team of engineers, or alone as required.
