Summary
As a Sr. Program Director, you'll serve as a strategic leader responsible for overseeing complex client engagements, driving business growth, and ensuring successful delivery of large-scale healthcare programs. In this role, you'll build trusted executive relationships, lead cross-functional teams, manage financial performance, and deliver innovative solutions that improve healthcare outcomes for government and commercial clients.

Your role in our mission
- Lead strategic client relationships and serve as the executive point of contact for complex healthcare programs.
- Develop long-term account strategies focused on client success, operational excellence, and business growth.
- Manage the overall financial performance (P&L), budgets, revenue expectations, and profitability of assigned accounts.
- Build and maintain executive-level relationships while serving as a trusted advisor to clients and stakeholders.
- Lead large, cross-functional teams in delivering complex programs aligned with organizational goals.
- Establish governance frameworks, meeting cadences, and accountability measures to ensure successful program execution.
- Collaborate with clients to establish project management processes, monitor deliverables, and communicate progress.
- Drive innovation through new technologies, process improvements, and operational best practices.
- Lead procurement efforts, support RFP responses, and identify opportunities to expand services.
- Manage change requests and ensure effective scope management throughout the project lifecycle.
- Present strategic recommendations and program updates to executive leadership, clients, legislators, and other key stakeholders.
- Partner across the organization to ensure contractual commitments, revenue objectives, and client expectations are consistently achieved.
- Maintain expertise in Medicaid Enterprise Certification Toolkit (MECT), Medicaid Information Technology Architecture (MITA), and outcomes-based certification methodologies.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
What we're looking for
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Healthcare Administration, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Master's degree preferred.
- Project Management Professional (PMP) certification required (must be obtained within 90 days of hire).
- 5-10+ years of experience managing large client accounts.
- 5+ years of project management experience.
- 5+ years of direct people leadership experience.
- 2+ years of Medicare and/or Medicaid experience.
- Advanced knowledge of project management methodologies, tools, and best practices, including Lean and Six Sigma.
- Experience managing budgets, revenue, and P&L.
- Ability to negotiate, influence, and collaborate effectively with executive stakeholders.
- Experience managing contractual deliverables in a matrixed organization.

The pay range for this position is $170,000.00 - $215,000.00 per year, however, the base pay offered may vary depending on geographic region, internal equity, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience among other factors.
