HMS, a Gainwell Technologies Company

HMS is hiring a Data Entry and Mailroom Supervisor who manages document preparation, screening, sorting, batching, and scanning for numerous types of forms for the HMS’s Alaska Medicaid client. They will also be responsible for managing an entire scanning process.

Your role in our mission

•    Monitors the courier and vehicle responsibilities.
•    Maintains inventory control for envelopes and forms for in-house use and outside vendor use.
•    Maintains daily/weekly inventory statistics.
•    Performs Mailroom human resources-related functions.
•    Assesses current backlogs, including the reasons for the backlogs.
•    Prepares documentation for storage and retention.
•    Acts as a mentor and leader to the Data Entry and Mailroom staff.
•    Monitors equipment used in both areas, reports issues, and works with Admin staff and Vendors to schedule maintenance.
•    Delivers services in accordance with service agreements.
•    Ensures the staff performing or supporting each process are trained as needed.
•    Communicates and ensures implementation of all work changes.
•    Responsible for service delivery performance measurement, management to achieve service excellence, and contract compliance.
•    Maintains and reports and works with leadership and other account areas to share data.
•    Maintains Standard Operating Procedures for all areas under this position’s supervisor, working with other internal departments when updates are needed.
•    Performs Quality Control steps and reports any identified issues to leadership.

•    Experience training and mentoring others. 
•    Leadership skills with a minimum of two years of supervisory experience 
•    Organization skills to independently balance and prioritize work. 
•    Ability to work independently and as part of a team. 
•    Strong communication skills for interacting with personnel and strong interpersonal, time management, and organizational skills.

The pay range for this position is $70,200.00 - $87,700.00 per year, however, the base pay offered may vary depending on geographic region, internal equity, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience among other factors.
