Summary

This role is responsible for leading the engagement of at least one client or significant project. The Account Manager owns the client relationship, contract management, and ensures Gainwell operations deliver services in alignment with contractual commitments. This position also drives revenue growth by supporting upsell opportunities and expanding services while maintaining high levels of client satisfaction.

Your role in our mission

  • Manage client contracts, relationships, and operational performance to ensure contractual obligations are met.
  • Prepare, monitor, and report on budget and revenue expectations for assigned client engagements.
  • Partner with clients to develop project approaches, implementation plans, and long-term growth strategies.
  • Oversee project development and implementation, ensuring timely and successful delivery.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact, maintaining regular communication with clients to ensure satisfaction.
  • Identify and pursue new revenue opportunities, including expansion of services within existing accounts.
  • Support sales activities, including proposal development and successful close of new business opportunities.
  • Monitor legislative, regulatory, and competitive landscapes to identify risks and growth opportunities.
  • Collaborate closely with internal teams to align operations, client expectations, and strategic objectives.

What we're looking for

  • Strong client relationship management experience, including large or complex client engagements.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage budgets, revenue targets, and contract performance.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills with a strong customer service mindset.
  • Proven ability to manage projects, prioritize work, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint; exposure to Tableau preferred.

What you should expect in this role

  • Fully Remote (Within the U.S.) 
  • May require up to 25% travel quarterly for group training 
  • This is a full-time permanent regular salaried (W-2) employee position. 
  • Upward career advancement is possible and encouraged. 
  • Company provided computer for work use. 
  • For all hybrid and remote positions employees' Broadband Internet connections, should have a minimum speed of 24MBS download and 8 MBS upload.  Greater speeds will of course provide better performance. 
  • Video cameras must be used during all interviews, as well as during the initial week of orientation if hired. The use of AI during interviews is prohibited.

The pay range for this position is $53,000 - $82,000 per year, however, the base pay offered may vary depending on geographic region, internal equity, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience among other factors.
