Your role in our mission

    • Take a close look at some of the details that contribute to Gainwell’s industry-leading tools and technologies in this challenging position.
    • Participate in requirements gathering sessions to build Requirement Specification and Design Documents that support business needs. 
    • Prepare time estimates and justifications for assigned tasks.
    • Code, test, debug, implement and document moderately-complex to complex technical programs.
    • Participate in and conduct peer reviews as needed.
    • Evaluate existing systems and programs to recommend potential enhancements.
    • Liaise with clients and management to provide technical consulting on complex programming projects, validate program requirements, and identify/address issues that may arise.
    • Provide leadership and guidance to less experienced developers.  

 

 

What we're looking for

 

15+ years of application development experience to include:

 

 

    • 12+ years with C programming experience and proficient in Pro*C
    • 6+ years of Unix or Linux experience
    • 10+ years of relational database experience (SQL, Oracle, SQL Server, other)
    • Healthcare and Medicaid work experience is required
    • Expertise in batch development, job automation, and notification services
    • Experience in writing specifications and design documentation, including the use of UML diagrams
    • Familiarity with interChange AIM subsystem and PS2 architecture, combined with a strong understanding of Medicaid eligibility processes, EVS inquiries, claims linkage, and CMS interfaces

The pay range for this position is $100,000 - $120,000 per year, however, the base pay offered may vary depending on geographic region, internal equity, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience among other factors.
