Your role in our mission

- Will serve in a Technical Functional Area Lead (TFAL) role leading technical teams and workstreams as you design, develop, test and install complex applications
- Keep the team on the same page by overseeing relationships between application architects and developers to ensure design requirements result in flexible, reusable system components
- Create more satisfied clients by writing highly complex design, coding and testing documentation that yields purpose-built technical products that meet real needs
- Shine as an SME in the areas of development, domain, application design and database methodologies and best practices
- Show your know-how as you provide clients with technical consultations on highly complex projects by refining existing apps and designing new application modules and components
- Exercise your expertise by mentoring and guiding less experienced application designers
- Analyzes customer information requirements and product specifications to define technical content strategy and plan.
- Codes, builds, compiles, and tests online information and/or sets-up, loads and tests systems hardware to create information deliverables and provide feedback on ease of use and user interfaces to product development.
- As customer advocate helps define/refine product requirements.
- Interfaces with cross-functional areas as a member of the development team
- Exercises independent judgment within defined practices and procedures to determine appropriate action.
- Acts as an informed team member providing analysis of information and limited project direction input.
- Follows established guidelines and interpret policies.
- Evaluates unique circumstances and makes recommendations.
What we're looking for
- 9+ years of applications design, development and programming with C language, UNIX/LINUX, SQL, job scripts/streams, and IWS (IBM Workload Scheduler)
- 2+ years of experience in a technical leadership role
- Experience documenting and executing unit test cases
- Experience supporting system design, development, maintenance and modification.
- Previous healthcare IT (Financial) systems experience is a plus.
Other experience:
- Consulting Experience: Strong background in consulting roles with the ability to transition into a TFAL (Technical Functional Application Lead) role.
- Change Leadership: A proactive change agent, committed to driving process enhancements and code improvements.
- Executive Presence & Communication: Exceptional ability to engage and communicate effectively across multiple stakeholders, including application developers, customers, support teams, and senior management.
- Leadership & Mentorship: Strong leadership and motivational skills, with the capability to mentor and develop individual contributors for high-performance teams.

The pay range for this position is $100,000 - $115,000 per year, however, the base pay offered may vary depending on geographic region, internal equity, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience among other factors.
