Your role in our mission

Take charge and focus on how we can meet critical needs to help clients deliver better health and human services outcomes. 

  • Manages documentation repository for system and process documentation to meet the agreed upon requirements, including storage, retrieval and review/update tracking. 
  • Gathers business requirements through a variety of techniques such as work sessions and interviews. 
  • Designs and implements a shared documentation repository for system and process documentation. 
  • Oversees work effort of the documentation specialists, including the creation, updating and/or reviewing of process, test, lessons learned, system and project documentation.  
  • Establishes documentation standards based on the company’s brand standards for documentation, enforces adherence to the established standards. 
  • Sets up processes to review and update documentation in alignment with the agreed upon update frequencies for each document. 
  • Participates in technical reviews and inspections to verify 'intent of change' is carried through the entire project. 
  • Works closely with the other Gainwell leaders to ensure the successful delivery of the system and process documentation in alignment with the agreed upon update frequencies for each document. 
  • Coordinates business analyst tasks on information technology projects and provides project team member guidance and support. May plan, allocate, and monitor work of other business analysts. 
  • Provides time estimates for project related tasks. 

What we're looking for

  • Ten or more years of experience leading IT related projects as a business analyst in healthcare industry, including interfacing between technical and business teams 
  • 4+ years of Medicaid experience with MMIS
  • Advanced experience working with MS Office - utilizing different documentation repositories and tools, for example SharePoint, Visio, Word, PowerPoint, Excel 
  • Experience working with business processes and re-engineering 
  • Experience working with computer programming concepts and basic language 
  • Ability to analyze and document complex business processes and system modifications. 
  • Strong understanding of IT service delivery and working with project management methodology 
  • Preferred - Bachelor’s degree or equivalent combination of education and experience: in business administration, information technology, engineering, technical communication, or related field

  • Proven leadership and mentoring abilities, supporting team development and growth
  • Strong communication, interpersonal, and presentation skills for effective collaboration with clients and cross-functional teams
  • Skilled in creative problem solving, multitasking, and adapting to change in dynamic environments
  • Proficient in business solutions software and personal computing tools
  • Capable of managing multiple small to mid-sized projects independently or within a team
  • Adept at building and maintaining formal and informal professional networks

The pay range for this position is $86,800.00 - $124,000.00 per year, however, the base pay offered may vary depending on geographic region, internal equity, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience among other factors.
