The Advisor Business Architect is responsible for eliciting, analyzing, and documenting business requirements for software development projects. This role involves working closely with stakeholders, end-users, project managers, and developers to ensure that software applications are designed to meet business needs. The Business Architect will help translate business objectives into technical solutions and support the software development lifecycle from inception to implementation. Your role in our mission
Play a critical part in ensuring Gainwell is meeting our clients’ objectives in important areas.
- Be a knowledgeable bridge between clients, project managers and technical staff to define, document and share business requirements and expected impact.
- Requirements and Process Analysis: Gather, analyze, and document functional and non-functional requirements; evaluate and optimize business processes to align with software capabilities.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Act as a liaison between stakeholders and technical teams, ensuring alignment on business needs, design, and development throughout the project lifecycle.
- Documentation and Communication: Create and maintain BRDs, user stories, process flows, and training materials to support development and user adoption.
- Testing and Quality Assurance: Support UAT, identify and resolve defects, and assist end-users during testing and go-live phases to ensure solution quality.
- Project and Change Management Support: Assist with project planning, tracking, and change management by analyzing impacts, managing risks, and communicating updates effectively.
- Coordinate business analyst team’s activities on IT projects and nurture newer team members by providing guidance and support.
- Exercise your analytical and relational database capability to quantify the anticipated solution approach and business impact.
What we're looking for
- 7–10 years as a Business Architect or Senior Business Analyst in Software Development.
- 7+ years gathering requirements, process mapping, and documentation.
- 7+ years working with Agile and Waterfall SDLC methodologies.
- 7+ years in Healthcare, Medicaid, or Pharmacy Systems with strong industry knowledge to resolve complex business and system needs, having strong analytical skills.
- 7+ years collaborating with cross-functional technical and non-technical teams.

- Opportunities to travel through your work (0-20%).
- Willingness to work a flexible schedule to accommodate business needs and travel as required.
- Video cameras must be used during all interviews, as well as during the initial week of orientation

The pay range for this position is $86,800.00 - $124,000.00 per year, however, the base pay offered may vary depending on geographic region, internal equity, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience among other factors.
