Summary
As an Advisor, Data Analyst at Gainwell, you will serve as a senior subject matter expert responsible for leading data analysis efforts that support healthcare transformation, ETL, reporting, conversion, and interface development. This role provides technical leadership and guidance to data analysts, drives best practices in data mapping and requirements analysis, and ensures complex business and technical requirements are translated into scalable, accurate data solutions.
Your role in our mission
When joining Gainwell, you will:
- Lead data analysis efforts by gathering requirements, designing mapping documents, and developing technical specifications to support ETL, reporting, conversion, and interface solutions
- Mentor, direct, and support data analysts while coordinating work assignments with development leads and project teams to ensure timely delivery
- Analyze healthcare data and transformation requirements using SQL, schemas, data models, and data dictionaries to support accurate solution design
- Partner with ETL, reporting, conversion, configuration, and DBA teams to ensure mappings, code, and technical solutions align with documented business requirements
- Develop test cases and support testing and validation activities across units, system integration, system, and user acceptance testing to ensure solutions meet design and business expectations
What we're looking for
- 7+ years of healthcare business analysis experience, preferably in Medicaid or claims/pharmacy processing environments
- 5+ years of technical and SQL experience in a data-focused environment
- 2+ years of project lead, mentoring, or team leadership experience
- Strong knowledge of QNXT/schema and healthcare domains including member, eligibility, TPL, claims processing (medical and pharmacy), provider, clinical, drug rebate and financial.
- Experience with data mapping, conversion, interfaces, reporting, and requirements analysis, along with strong communication and problem-solving skills

The pay range for this position is $86,800.00 - $124,000.00 per year, however, the base pay offered may vary depending on geographic region, internal equity, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience among other factors.
