Advisor Program Management

We are looking for a "go-getter" mentality who can monitor program status and identifies risks. Documents program progress including implementation, timelines, issues, risks and successes to maintain program course. Someone who can identify and resolve matters of significance impacting the productivity of assigned programs globally, while being able to implement changes and adjusts as appropriate.

Your role in our mission

To Interface and collaborate with team members, stakeholders and management to anticipate and manage changes to projects, such as, but not limited to, technical requirements, business requirements and schedule.  Someone who can manage expectations of client project/senior management for agreed upon project performance.

What we're looking for

Essential Job Functions

  • Develops work/scope statements, priority definitions, budgets and schedules for moderately complex programs.
  • Develops documents in accordance with contract to meet client requirements and needs, while maintaining quality.
  • Ensures communication and understanding of deadlines, assignments and objectives.
  • Acts as point of contact with client.
  • Documents and monitors program status, timelines, issues, and risks to maintain program course.
  • Identifies and resolves matters of significance affecting the program.
  • Implements changes and adjusts as appropriate. Collaborates with team members and stakeholders to anticipate and manage changes to projects.
  • Manages client project/senior management expectations for agreed-to project performance by obtaining, providing, analyzing and interpreting project metrics.
  • Gathers and analyzes client feedback on program results and incorporates into future programs.
  • Monitors spending for adherence to budget, reviews and recommends variances as necessary.


Basic Qualifications

  • Five or more years of project management experience
  • Experience working with project management methodology including budget development, project planning, quality,  and control methodologies including earned value, PM software and finance/accounting concepts and practices
  • Project Management Certification (PMP) preferred
  • Public sector experience preferred
