Summary

As an Associate Professional Business Analyst- TSU Support at Gainwell, you will apply administrative, technical, and analytical skills to help our clients improve the health and well‑being of the members they serve. The position supports the New Jersey Medicaid Management Information System and offers hands‑on experience, mentorship, and career development.

Your role in our mission

Provide administrative, technical, and operational support to the Technical Service Unit (TSU) that supports the New Jersey Medicaid Management Information System (NJMMIS). This role serves as a central assistant to the TSU team, ensuring accurate document production, dependable office systems support, and clear communications across analytical and technical staff as well as with customers. Healthcare and Medicaid domain experience is a plus.

 Key responsibilities:

  • Serve as the primary contact for the TSU team, triaging incoming requests and managing shared tracking tools.
  • Create and finalize documents in Word and Excel, and produce secure, well‑organized PDFs using Adobe Acrobat.
  • Validate documents and reports for accuracy, formatting, and completeness, ensuring all deliverables meet quality and accessibility standards.
  • Maintain organized shared drives and support improvements in file structure and document workflows.
  • Draft professional written communications and support meeting coordination and light project support.
  • Follow established procedures precisely and learn new tools and processes quickly to meet evolving team needs.

What we're looking for

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel, with familiarity using Adobe Acrobat.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, along with foundational analytical and problem‑solving abilities.
  • Experience working with shared drives, document management systems, or ticketing tools.
  • High attention to detail, particularly in document quality reviews and adherence to standards.
  • Ability to follow documented procedures, learn quickly, and adapt to new tools and processes.
  • Collaborative team player with basic understanding of SDLC and familiarity with PDF accessibility best practices.

The pay range for this position is $44,500.00 - $63,500.00 per year, however, the base pay offered may vary depending on geographic region, internal equity, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience among other factors.
