Summary

As a Business Analyst Intern- Hybrid El Paso, TX, you will support cross functional teams by gathering and analyzing data, documenting business requirements, and assisting with process mapping and workflow improvements. You will apply analytical skills and tools such as Power BI, Tableau, Excel, SQL, and MS Office while contributing to projects involving Procurement, IT Service Management, and Project Management. This role provides hands-on experience with ServiceNow, Visio, and technical writing, enabling you to help streamline operations and enhance business processes across the organization.

Your role in our mission

  • Assist in developing business requirements, documentation, and technical writing for new or updated processes.
  • Create dashboards, reports, and visualizations using Power BI, Tableau, and Excel to support operational decisions. Use ServiceNow and ITSM frameworks to support ticketing processes and service improvement activities.
  • Assists in the research and assessment of business goals and align information technology solutions with business initiatives and serve as the liaison between technical personnel and business area.
  • Assists in creating and executing test scenarios to verify system changes are working as designed. Execute systems tests from existing test plans, analyzing test results in various phases.
  • Support procurement related analysis, data validation, and supplier related reporting. Maintain and update process maps, workflows, and standard operating procedures using Visio and other tools.
  • Collaborate with project managers to track milestones, risks, and deliverables across initiatives. Also, collaborate with cross-functional teams, including developers, engineers, and healthcare professionals, to solve real-world problems.

What we're looking for

  • Students in later years of study (Juniors and Seniors) pursuing a BS or MS degree in Computer Science, Mathematics /Statistics, Business Administration or related field.
  • Experience or coursework in Procurement, Accounting principles, and/or CRA. Familiarity with IT Service Management concepts, ServiceNow navigation, and general IT workflows.
  • Proficiency with MS Office, Excel (pivot tables, formulas), SQL basics, and data visualization tools.
  • Ability to create clear, well structured documents, including business requirements and process documentation.
  • Detail‑oriented and organized, with strong analytical and problem‑solving skills. Able to interpret data, identify trends, and support projects in fast‑paced, team‑driven environments.
  • Independent project ownership-process optimization, automation- developing scripts, analyzing data and recommending solutions.

What you should expect in this role

•    Paid Summer Internship - $20.00 per hour. Timeline: May 19, 2026 - August 8, 2026 (12-week program, 40 hours per week). 
•    Hybrid opportunity in El Paso, TX - Candidate must reside in the Dallas area and vicinity (30 miles around).

The pay range for this position is $31,200.00 - $37,450.00 per year, however, the base pay offered may vary depending on geographic region, internal equity, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience among other factors.
