Summary
As a Business Analyst -Invoice Coordinator at Gainwell, you will support invoicing and billing operations for the Connecticut Medicaid account by coordinating invoice documentation, maintaining billing records, and assisting with invoice preparation activities. This role partners with finance, operations, and account teams to ensure accurate, timely, and compliant invoice processing while supporting operational and client requirements.
Your role in our mission
When joining Gainwell, you will:
- Coordinate the collection and validation of invoice support documentation from internal teams and stakeholders.
- Prepare and maintain billing records, invoice trackers, and supporting documentation for monthly, quarterly, and milestone-based invoicing activities.
- Review billing information, reports, and source documentation to ensure accuracy, completeness, and compliance with established requirements.
- Support invoice reconciliation activities by analyzing billing data, researching discrepancies, and assisting with issue resolution.
- Partner with finance, operations, and account leadership to support billing status reporting, audit requests, and continuous process improvement initiatives.
What we're looking for
- 2-4 years of experience in billing, invoicing, finance operations, project coordination, business operations, or a related field.
- Experience maintaining billing records, tracking deliverables, coordinating documentation, and supporting invoice preparation activities.
- Strong analytical and organizational skills with attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel, Outlook, Word, and Teams.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills with the ability to work effectively across operational, project, and finance teams.

The pay range for this position is $55,600 - $79,400 per year, however, the base pay offered may vary depending on geographic region, internal equity, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience among other factors.
