Summary

As a Business Analyst - Requirement Validation at Gainwell, you can contribute your skills as we harness the power of technology to help our clients improve the health and well-being of the members they serve — a community’s most vulnerable. The Business Analyst Requirement Validation (RV) supports the end-to-end RVS process to ensure that client requirements are accurately captured and validated against solution deliverables. This role collaborates with internal teams and external stakeholders to document requirements, facilitate discussions, and assist in producing high-quality RVS artifacts. The Professional BA contributes to successful project delivery by maintaining accurate documentation, addressing stakeholder concerns, and ensuring alignment with project objectives. Your role in our mission

  • Participate in the RVS process by gathering, analyzing, and documenting client requirements.
  • Assist in creating "How Requirements Are Met" documentation to support alignment with client expectations.
  • Prepare and organize RVS artifacts for internal and client use, ensuring accuracy and clarity.
  • Collaborate with internal teams, clients, and leadership to validate requirements and resolve ambiguities.
  • Support RVS discussions by facilitating stakeholder participation and ensuring consensus.
  • Serve as a scribe during RVS sessions, capturing key points, decisions, and action items.
  • Maintain organized documentation, including meeting minutes and summaries, for accessibility and reference.
  • Utilize ALM tools (e.g., JIRA, Azure DevOps) to document requirements and establish traceability.
  • Assist in linking RVS artifacts to downstream testing and development workflows.
  • Identify and escalate risks, issues, or gaps, and propose solutions to maintain project momentum.

What we're looking for

  • Bachelor’s degree in business administration, information systems, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
  • 3–5 years of business analysis experience, including involvement in requirements validation processes.
  • Experience with documenting and validating requirements for large-scale projects.
  • Familiarity with ALM tools such as JIRA, Azure DevOps, or similar platforms.
  • Understanding of healthcare, Medicaid, CMS, or MITA frameworks preferred.

Additional skills

  • Strong organization skills and packaging artifacts for client consumption.
  • Proficiency in maintaining accurate meeting minutes and project documentation.
  • Familiarity with business analysis methodologies and tools.
  • Effective interpersonal skills to collaborate and build consensus among stakeholders.
  • Competent in facilitating discussions and managing stakeholder participation.
  • Clear and concise communication skills for both technical and non-technical audiences.
  • Ability to identify risks, propose solutions, and maintain project momentum.

The pay range for this position is $51,900.00 - $74,200.00 per year, however, the base pay offered may vary depending on geographic region, internal equity, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience among other factors.
