We are seeking a Business Intelligence Engineer who is responsible for improving organizational capabilities by working closely with cross-functional teams to transform raw data into actionable insights.
Your role in our mission
- We are seeking a highly motivated BI Engineer who can independently learn our data landscape and business processes to deliver automated reporting solutions. This role requires strong technical expertise in Python and SQL, combined with the ability to gather requirements and translate them into actionable solutions without extensive oversight. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, thrives under tight deadlines, and can quickly adapt to changing priorities.
- Automate and streamline reporting using Python, SQL, and Excel.
- Gather and clarify business requirements independently, translating them into technical solutions.
- Develop and maintain ETL processes to ensure data accuracy and timeliness.
- Analyze complex datasets to identify trends and deliver actionable insights.
- Create clear documentation for processes, data mapping, and workflows.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate data from multiple sources.
- Continuously improve existing reporting processes for efficiency and scalability.
- Deliver accurate reports under short deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Work closely with business stakeholders to understand their requirements and translate them into technical solutions. Communicate complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders effectively.
- Apply process improvement and reengineering methodologies and principles to identify and plan improvements (process and technology) including identifying the current process, applying best practices, and creating performance measurements.
- Lead non-conformance investigation into process outliers, including root cause analysis, corrective, and preventive actions
What we're looking for
- 3 – 5 years of experience in:

- SQL and Python for data automation
- Building automated data pipelines and ETL processes
- Working with large, complex datasets

- 3 years of experience with data visualization (Tableau, PowerBI) is a plus
- Process diagramming software experience is a plus (Visio/Lucidchart)
- Strong ability to learn business processes and data structures quickly with minimal guidance.
- Healthcare experience is a plus.
