Business Relationship Manager - Service Delivery (Business Analyst)

Oversees analyses of business goals, objectives and needs of the general business environment and performs specialized or highly complex analyses. Serves as a subject matter expert and the liaison between technical personnel and non-technical personnel. Communicates with clients and/or other appropriate personnel to define client business needs; leads the translation activities of technology requirements into business language, and facilitates client adoption of value added business solutions.

 

Essential Job Functions

 

  • Oversees, plans, and designs highly complex business processes and makes recommendations to improve and support business activities.
  • Analyzes and documents client's complex business requirements and processes; constructs conceptual data and process models, including data dictionaries and volume estimates to communicate requirements.
  • Performs the function of a lead in creating complex test case scenarios for testing and/or monitoring the testing of business applications to verify that client requirements are incorporated into the system design.
  • Function as a lead and provides input into the development and modification of systems to meet client needs.
  • Coordinates and facilitates meetings with clients on larger accounts to gather and document requirements and explore complex solutions.
  • Coordinates business analyst tasks on information technology projects and provide project team member guidance/support throughout the project life cycle. Provides work guidance and mentoring to less experienced personnel.
  • Participates and provides expertise in technical reviews and inspections to verify the implementation of 'intent of change' through the entire project.
  • Provides time estimates for project related tasks.
  • Creates and maintains the architecture for highly complex business process domains to ensure alignment with the organization's technology priorities.
  • Utilize service management/ticketing/queuing tools (such as ServiceNow) to track incidents and resolutions.

  • Demonstrates extensive abilities and/or a proven record of success as a team leader in guiding application development and delivery/service teams in the following areas:
    • Managing development projects and all technical operational aspects for a specific business area’s application.
    • Managing a portfolio of development and operations teams along with managing the technical support for the business applications.
    • Managing delivery of services and financial cost recovery for specific business sponsors.
    • Managing Service Level Agreements (SLA) with external and internal resources and quality/acceptance of deliverables including customer relations, problem management, vendor management and financial management of the service they represent.
    • Operating with some independent authority and good judgement to resolve technical issues that pertain to the business applications under their area of responsibility.
    • Maintaining continuity of technical knowledge that is significant to the successful operation of a particular business area.
    • Managing teams in a rapidly changing environment including performance management, coaching for development, and resource assignment.
    • Building relationships with business stakeholders throughout the organization to influence them to take action to drive progress.
    • Contributing to and/or facilitating security reviews, release management, capacity planning, infrastructure change scheduling, etc.; and,
    • Coaching technical team members to increase business acumen including the ability to effectively communicate.
  • Ideal candidate must be knowledgeable in SAP including S4Hana, Success Factors, etc. and have experience with G&A functionality.
  • This role will collaborate with Gainwell’s new SAP COE teams and the business leaders.
