Summary

As a Client Account Specialist at Gainwell, you will serve as a key point of contact for clients, ensuring exceptional service delivery and fostering strong business relationships. In this role, you will collaborate with internal teams and external stakeholders to address client needs, resolve issues, support account management activities, and contribute to overall client satisfaction. The ideal candidate is customer-focused, highly organized, analytical, and skilled at managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.

Your role in our mission

  • Serve as a primary point of contact for assigned client accounts, building and maintaining positive business relationships. 
  • Respond to client inquiries and requests in a timely, professional, and customer-focused manner. 
  • Coordinate with internal departments to address client concerns, resolve issues, and ensure service expectations are met. 
  • Monitor account activity and identify opportunities to improve client satisfaction and operational efficiency. 
  • Maintain accurate client records, account documentation, and communications within CRM systems and internal databases. 
  • Prepare reports, account summaries, and other documentation to support client meetings and business reviews. 
  • Analyze account data and trends to identify potential issues, recommend solutions, and support decision-making. 
  • Assist with onboarding new clients, account transitions, and implementation activities as needed. 
  • Escalate complex issues appropriately and follow through to resolution while maintaining clear communication with clients. 
  • Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, and applicable regulatory requirements. 
  • Support special projects, process improvement initiatives, and other account management activities as assigned. 

What we're looking for

  • 2+ years of experience in customer service, account management, client services, or a related business support role.
  • Strong customer service and relationship management skills with the ability to build trust and maintain positive client partnerships.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to communicate effectively with clients and internal stakeholders.
  • Proficiency with CRM software and Microsoft Office applications, including Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and conflict resolution skills with exceptional attention to detail and accuracy.

What you should expect in this role

  • Remote within the U.S.
  • Video cameras must be used during all interviews, as well as during the initial week of orientation.
  • To work effectively as a teleworker or hybrid positions with Gainwell, employees must have a broadband internet connection with a minimum speed of 24 Mbps download and 8 Mbps upload. Higher speeds are recommended for optimal performance.

  • Opportunity to support multiple client accounts and business initiatives. 
  • Primarily remote work environment with occasional travel or onsite meetings based on business needs.
  • Standard business hours with flexibility as needed to support client requirements.

The pay range for this position is $55,600.00 - $79,400.00 per year, however, the base pay offered may vary depending on geographic region, internal equity, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience among other factors.
