Your role in our mission

 

Gainwell’s innovative, purpose-built technologies and solutions could begin with you in this challenging position.

 

  • Work collaboratively to architect, develop, test and deploy infrastructure on AWS to support analytic workloads
  • Develop scalable, resilient, reproducible infrastructure solutions that meet the business, technical and security needs of the organization
  • Develop and support infrastructure as code (IaC) using Terraform and GitHub Action pipelines for cloud environments
  • Automate repeatable tasks and create efficiencies in the workflows
  • Provide senior level guidance or lead in the planning and direction of the project to meet required objectives
  • Document and champion good engineering practices within infrastructure engineering teams

 

What we're looking for

 

  • 5+ years of relevant experience in infrastructure with 3+ years in deploying infrastructure on AWS using automated pipelines
  • 3+ years of  experience deploying infrastructure as code (IaC) using CloudFormation or Terraform (preferred) using DevOps best practices
  • Expert beyond the basics of AWS-native services such as multi-region and multi-zone DR, EKS, ECS, Fargate clustering, Lambda, S3, EC2 auto scaling groups, SNS, RDS, Glue/Spark, CloudWatch, CloudTrail, API Gateway, IAM Identity Center,  Security Hub Policy, NLB (ELB and ALB), WAF, Security Groups, etc.
  • Familiarity with cloud security and compliance paradigms (HIPAA/HiTRUST/FedRAMP)
  • 'AWS Solutions Architect - Professional' certification is preferred

The pay range for this position is 90,000 - 120,000 per year, however, the base pay offered may vary depending on geographic region, internal equity, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience among other factors.
