Your role in our mission

  • Serve as the senior engagement delivery resource for large, complex healthcare solution engagements -
  • Cultivate highly functioning teams comprised of Gainwell Technologies, vendor, and client resources 
  • Day-to-day client point of contact, working with engagement managers to ensure successful delivery
  • Develop strong client relationships – 
    • Communicate with and connect with a variety of client stakeholders, from IT professionals to corporate communications, to senior executives
    • Participate in client engagement meetings (including Steering Committee) to set client expectations and address issue and resolution management 
  • Apply project management industry best practices (PMBOK) throughout Initiate, Plan, Execute and Control, and Closeout phases -
    • Establish engagement plans (e.g. schedule, scope, budget, quality and staff management), 
    • Confirm overall estimates of the effort / resource requirements / schedule 
    • Monitor performance and report engagement metrics
    • Provide feedback and corrective actions
    • Ensure deliverables are of the highest quality to promote client satisfaction 
  • Lead system development lifecycle (SDLC) activities, applying experience with waterfall, agile, and hybrid methodologies
  • Assist with business development efforts from a delivery perspective, including risk assessment/risk mitigation efforts during the proposal process
  • Oversees business activities to ensure a high standard of professional excellence is maintained among staff members.
  • Mentor and provide solutions delivery expertise to less experienced team members and conduct performance reviews
  • Work with recruiting to hire talented candidates, as needed 

What we're looking for

  • More than 15 years of overall IT experience - including at least 5 years of demonstrated successful management and delivery of large-scale enterprise healthcare solutions
  • Proven track record delivering large, complex IT engagements with budget responsibility between $10-50 million annually and client relationships ranging from $50-500 million (total contract value)
  • Proven track record managing customer relationships and working with executives, key business stakeholders, and decision makers
  • Advanced knowledge of program and project management discipline, including risk and quality management practices, with an enforcement of standards and requirements and delivery of mission services in waterfall and agile delivery; Project management Certification (PMP) preferred
  • Expertise in contract management, engagement reviews, negotiations and change management; public sector preferred

What you should expect in this role

  • Up to 50% travel

 

The pay range for this position is $108,500.00 - $155,000.00 per year, however, the base pay offered may vary depending on geographic region, internal equity, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience among other factors.
