Summary

Responsible for leading technology-focused initiatives and ensuring the delivery of implementation projects while meeting all contractual specifications in data conversion and interfaces capability areas.  Shapes and drives strategies to ensure that company's delivery model remains a competitive differentiator through expert talent, implementation and unparalleled quality. Leads the company's key client implementation initiatives through our global delivery networks with a focus on ensuring quality and consistency of delivery to our clients. Leads cutting edge capability areas in service of client and internal implementation efforts.

Your role in our mission

  • Requires extensive knowledge of Medicaid Management Information Systems (MMIS), exposure to QNXT is preferred, hands-on experience in .NET, SQL, and functional knowledge of MITA areas such as Member, Provider, and Claims.
  • Serves as a key leader in Medicaid DDI (Design, Development, and Implementation) project solutioning, hands-on design and development experience in data analytics platform such as Databricks, .NET stack (SQL Server, SSIS - SQL Server Integration Services).
  • Collaborate with business and IT stakeholders to translate requirements into technical design and solutions.
  • Ensure alignment with architectural standards and best practices, particularly in the MMIS context.
  • Collaborate with development teams (onshore and offshore) to implement coding standards, conduct code reviews, and optimize application logic.
  • Integrate with external web services or APIs as needed, ensuring secure and reliable data exchange.
  • Provides an independent voice and advice on review of proposals, on-going projects, and accounts to ensure compliance and consistency in the delivery of offerings. 
  • Build relationships with Engagement Leaders, PMO leaders and other key internal and external stakeholders at Gainwell to plan and execute successful DDIs.

What we're looking for

  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Systems, or a related field (Master’s degree preferred). 15+ years of professional experience in software development or technical analysis, with at least 5 years in an MMIS environment.
  • Must have previous hands-on design and development experience in data analytics platform such as Databricks, .NET stack (SQL Server, SSIS - SQL Server Integration Services). Involvement in Medicaid DDI (Design, Development, and Implementation) project solutioning is highly preferred.
  • Proficiency in .NET technologies (C#, ASP.NET, .NET Core) and SQL (queries, stored procedures, performance tuning).
  • Solid knowledge of SQL Server, including query optimization, indexing strategies, and data modeling.
  • Familiarity with data integration and ETL processes; experience with web services or APIs is a plus.
  • Functional understanding of MITA areas, including Member, Provider, Claims, etc.
  • Understanding of Medicaid, Medicare, or other healthcare program management.

  • This position is 100% remote with up to 10% to 20% travel annually.

The pay range for this position is $127,400.00 - $182,000.00 per year, however, the base pay offered may vary depending on geographic region, internal equity, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience among other factors.
