Summary

As Director of Business Strategy and Planning, you will help lead the evolution of Gainwell’s entire business. You will work with executive leaders across the company, champion our transformation and strategic initiatives, develop strategies, and operational plans as well as the necessary capabilities to measure success. 


You will bring a track record of experience in business management, digital health and healthcare, government service, and/or cloud-based IT and business services. You will have extensive strategy and transformation experience with digital health offerings, and a deep passion for industry change. You will be strategic, creative, and innovative, managing complex, multi-faceted strategic and operational initiatives working across various stakeholders.

Your role in our mission

  • Develop, manage, and track Gainwell’s Enterprise and Operations Transformation Program(s) including identifying, analyzing, and quantifying benefits, identifying, and organizing resources to capture opportunities and track progress.
  • Support Enterprise-wide strategic initiatives from inception through the development of recommendations to key stakeholders.
  • Liaise with Operations, Accounts, Finance, Executive Leadership, and Board members on various strategic and transformational initiatives.
  • Develop Board materials and report progress of Transformation Program(s).
  • Manage, lead, and grow a team of analysts to support strategic, efficiency and effectiveness priority initiatives.
  • Lead coordination efforts by building relationships, partnering, and influencing business area leadership and their teams across Gainwell.

What we're looking for

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Management, Information Systems, Public Health, or equivalent practical experience.
  • 10+ years of experience in roles related to strategy, transformation and/or operations, either at a corporation and/or at a top tier consulting company. Extensive experience with healthcare and/or government programs preferred.
  • Experience with strategic planning and development.
  • Experience creating, communicating, and tracking operating plans and KPIs.
  • Strong ability to communicate concisely with C-Suite leadership and present to various stakeholders with confidence. 
  • Experience with enterprise-facing products such as SaaS platforms, internal infrastructure, at-scale program delivery software, and APIs.
  • Ability to drive a transformation and change agenda across multiple business units from initial stages of strategy development, planning and development, through to implementation.
  • Extensive experience with PowerPoint and Excel.

What you should expect in this role

  • This role is 100% remote with annual travel possible up to 25%.

 

The pay range for this position is $146,700.00 - $209,500.00 per year, however, the base pay offered may vary depending on geographic region, internal equity, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience among other factors.
