Summary

Defines, creates and conveys the Payment Integrity product development strategy and drives the design, testing and execution plan of multiple, innovative products and services. Drives large, product development projects with significant customer-facing and financial impact. Directs the research of current and new technologies to initiate/develop and/or to revise improve existing products.

Your role in our mission

  • Creates the strategic plan and conveys the vision, manages change and motivates others to ensure the success of the company goals; applies deep and broad knowledge and understanding of industry and technology advances and predicts the business impacts of engineering decisions across multiple disciplines.
  • Defines and launches new Payment Integrity products and features designed to take advantage of company's platform and delivery capabilities.
  • Collaborates and works closely with project management, development, and quality leaders on the development and implementation of the Payment Integrity product roadmap and plans that drive product adoption.
  • Collaborates with internal product and other senior technical leadership and articulates the company's product vision, setting the course for continued development and growth.
  • Creates and leads execution of development and project plans, resource allocation and budget and revises as appropriate to meet changing needs and requirements. Identifies and resolves strategic issues that may impair the team's ability to meet strategic, financial and technical goals.
  • Develops strategic business relationships with key client decision makers. Has frequent and direct contact with these executives in order to ensure engagement with clients at strategic and highest levels.
  • Evaluates and collaborates with senior management on Payment Integrity product development processes including sound engineering design process and quality practices, software estimation, coding standards, technical documentation standards, quality assurance processes, build, and configuration management; supports a culture that values high development standards and product quality.
  • Defines and stewards effective data governance framework and process to ensure data compliance, integrity and quality.
  • Defines and leverages industry best practices, tools and technologies to achieve results.
  • Establishes and communicates goals and objectives, defines methodologies, tasks and activities and clearly describes roles and responsibilities for personnel.
  • Communicates broadly to ensure overall coordination for cross-functional teams.

What we're looking for

  • Eight or more years experience in Payment Integrity Audit and Recovery with knowledge of audit strategies such as Data Mining, Clinical Medical Record Review, and Bill Audit
  • Eight or more years in a supervisory or management capacity included experience with the product development life cycle at all levels of complexity, technical support, or consulting, preferably in a Payment Integrity market
  • Ten or more years of experience with technical product design, configuration, integration, and/or delivering products to market
  • Experience working with client enterprise products, services, and strategies, technical products, vendors, families of technologies and product configurations
  • Experience working with technology architecture, mainframes, scheduling software and other related technologies
  • Experience working with business environment, business industry and competitor products and services

  • Remote position which will include ~20% client and/or internal onsite meetings

The pay range for this position is $137,100.00 - $195,800.00 per year, however, the base pay offered may vary depending on geographic region, internal equity, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience among other factors.
