Summary
GainwellRx is our solution and business platform to support states and Medicaid members across the country for prescription drug related business processes and member experiences. The Director, Pharmacy Financial Analysis & Planning will serve a key role within the pharmacy business and will interface with all leaders of the executive leadership team, State Sector Leaders, Account General Managers, and industry vendors/partners. The role directly supports Gainwell’s pharmacy growth strategies, opportunity pipeline, projections, state strategies, and financial performance.
The Director, Pharmacy Financial Analysis & Planning is responsible for working collaboratively internally and with external client partners to identify and manage value. This individual will work closely with the Rx COE leadership team, State Clients, and Market teams, to track financial performance and ensure all pricing related contractual commitments are met. This role will also will manage large data tables and tools that measure client guarantee performance, develop tracking reports, and communicate any known risks or opportunities.
Your role in our mission
- Partners with Pharmacy executive team to drive business strategy and business development through insights and analysis.
- Track, monitor, and report out on Client/State specific revenue projections, opportunities, and risks.
- Complete pricing related activities for rental network clients, which includes development of custom program pricing.
- Design and implement tools and financial models to support decision makers with forecasting, reporting, and analysis.
- Develop reporting for discussions around annual plan, monthly operating report, and mid-year projections.
- Meet collaboratively with clients to discuss any financial or operational issues or opportunities.
- Support State by State opportunity tracking and analysis.
- Support financial model for current and potential client savings and value.
What we're looking for
- Bachelor's Degree (or equivalent experience) with 6+ years of experience in Finance, Pharmacy, PBM, or related field
- Experience in financial modeling and financial planning and analysis
- Experience in SQL and managing/analyzing large data sets
- Experience working cross functionally in a collaborative environment
- Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel including macros
- Comfort working in dynamic and deadline driven environments
What you should expect in this role
- This position is 100% remote, with approximately 20% travel to support key client meetings.
