Summary

Accountability for integrated delivery across multiple complex implementation and major production programs.  Hands-on leader, fast learner, and decisive doer, this person turns plans into results, resolves obstacles, and follows commitments through completion.  Manages a global team of Integrated Delivery Program Managers and platform leads, leading integrated planning, execution and governance across delivery teams who own components of the solution.

Your role in our mission

  • Own program delivery governance from planning through completion. Lead from deal intake through deployment and operational stabilization, align scope, schedule and quality to client commitments. Work directly with teams to close execution gaps and drive decisions into action.
  • Scale delivery capability through coaching. Strengthen PMs’ judgment, planning, problem-solving, and execution through hands-on guidance and feedback. Set clear expectations, address performance gaps, and prepare PMs to independently own outcomes and drive mitigation plans.
  • Establish achievable commitments. Partner with sales, product, and implementation leaders to assess upcoming deals, forecast capacity, and address resource gaps. Challenge unrealistic expectations, clarify scope, cost, and timeline tradeoffs, and negotiate executable plans.
  • Put the operating model into practice. Align product, engineering, testing, implementation, architecture, platform, infrastructure, operations, and offshore teams around shared plans, clear responsibilities, decision rights, and escalation paths.
  • Anticipate risks and recover troubled programs. Identify threats early, diagnose root causes, and lead mitigation or recovery efforts. Give executives a clear view of delivery health, recommended actions, and decisions needed. Acknowledge mistakes and follow corrective actions through completion.
  • Improve delivery across accounts. Implement improvements to support aggressive DDI timelines, eliminate unnecessary handoffs, and apply automation and AI where allowed. Share lessons learned between programs, turn successful practices into measurable, repeatable improvements.

What we're looking for

  • 10+ years of program, portfolio, or delivery leadership across complex software implementations and production support, with experience in healthcare, Medicaid, Medicare, pharmacy, or government technology.
  • Proven accountability for large portfolios, budgets, and client implementations, with measurable results in delivery, program recovery, and operational improvement.
  • Ability to learn unfamiliar products and environments quickly, exercise sound judgment, and take effective action with incomplete information.
  • Experience directly leading PMs and delivery leaders, with demonstrated success coaching them into greater capability and independent ownership.
  • Expertise in integrated planning, capacity forecasting, release readiness, dependency management, and risk mitigation, supported by financial and operational judgment.
  • Ability to align matrixed, offshore, and globally distributed teams; challenge commitments constructively; resolve conflict; and communicate clearly with executives and clients.

What you should expect in this role

  • This role is 100% remote with the opportunity to travel through work up to 20% annually.
