Summary
Gainwell is seeking an experienced and results-driven business leader to manage the strategy, growth, and overall success of their Medicaid product portfolio. Reporting directly to the Senior Vice President and General Manager of Provider Solutions, this Director role will manage a 25+ client portfolio, representing nearly half of the Medicaid State programs in the country. This leader will act as the face of Gainwell’s Provider Solutions and will frequently engage with Gainwell clients and operational staff to ensure achievement of desired client and Gainwell outcomes through Provider Services technologies and enhancements to those technologies. A successful candidate will be highly organized, strategic, creative, and have exceptional problem solving, analytical, communication and interpersonal skills. This key leader will have direct management responsibilities of the Provider Services portfolio and be responsible for the growth of this business line. This leader will drive development and execution of a self-developed strategy that positions Gainwell and its valued clients to meet critical business and technological outcomes.
Your role in our mission
- Results-driven leader accountable for overall success, sell-ability, and positioning of Provider Solutions enhancement and add-on products.
- Responsible for material growth of the business line, all product evolution, and managing financial performance of product portfolio against plan.
- Lead interdisciplinary team (matrixed) of operations, technical, marketing, sales, finance and leadership teams to drive achievement of Gainwell strategic, financial, and operational goals.
- Analyze and assess target market, and thoroughly understand competitive landscape and market position of solution portfolio, along with federal (CMS) and state mandates.
- Develop and manage client engagement plan, and effectively manage priorities and activities against plan – meeting both virtually and in-person with clients to better understand their needs.
- Coordinates strategies, work, and communicates effectively between corresponding leadership roles in Delivery, Development, Operations, Marketing, and Sales to drive achievement of goals.
- Identifies and prioritizes opportunities with systems and services (operational) teams to develop new enhancements and solutions for Gainwell Provider Services systems.
- Govern and support implementation team to ensure successful implementation and delivery of Provider services system enhancements and products.
- Produces and delivers executive reports on solution suite vision, strategy, and finances on a routine basis.
What we're looking for
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education and experience
- 7-10 years of technology product management, with extensive exposure to product engineering, product sales, product marketing, and product implementations
- Experience working as a Product Director and/or Manager in healthcare technology is required
- Medicaid Provider Enrollment and Healthcare IT system experience is required
- Expertise in Medicaid Management Information Systems (MMIS) solutions is required
- Expertise in MMIS MITA 3.0 framework and CMS certification of MMIS solutions is required
- Experience managing MMIS system enhancements and strategy is required
- Experience interfacing with clients to understand needs and aligning to product enhancements / solutions to client demand is required
- Experience overseeing multiple complex technology projects / implementations is required
- Experience implementing and / or operating technical solutions is required
- Experience with growth business plan development and management is required (30-50% YoY)

The pay range for this position is $137,100.00 - $195,800.00 per year, however, the base pay offered may vary depending on geographic region, internal equity, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience among other factors.
