We are looking for a talented Program Director, who will be responsible for leading the account and delivery team, with the consistent training/mentoring of junior colleagues.  This individual will be considered a subject matter expert for the client, and will be responsible for approvals of various deliverables and annual/monthly budgets.

We are seeking a Program Director with a go-getter mentality who would be responsible for the successful sales and delivery of HMS services to State/Government client(s) in accordance with contract requirements. This individual will oversee routine delivery of client services and day-to-day management of client relationships as well as overall revenue. This individual will also be responsible for growing contracts and ensuring all service-level agreements are met.

Your role in our mission

  • Subject matter expert in regards to contracts, strong knowledge of state codes as well as State/Federal Legislations
  • Ability to lead client meetings and engage various stakeholders while having strong presentation skills
  • Introduces, negotiates, and implements new projects to expand scope of engagement
  • Serves as the primary liaison with clients, and is responsible for overall client satisfaction
  • Engages in the strategy and development of government affairs programs, specific to assigned account(s)
  • Works with Operations and IT resources as well as leaders to ensure key client deliverables, SLAs, and mitigate risks 
  • Identifies sources of revenue through process improvements, client relationships, local policy initiatives, and strategic agendas and partnerships
  • Monitors competitor landscape through constant review of competitor activity or wins. Tracks legislative and regulatory initiatives through consistent reporting
  • Day-to-day knowledge of State Information System initiatives, (including MES, MITA) related module education, bidding, partnering, and implementation project management
  • Establishes and implements short- and long-term strategies to deliver services to customers within reasonable schedules and budgets
  • Establishes and communicates goals and objectives, defines methodologies, while communicating broadly to help ensure overall coordination for cross-functional teams

What we're looking for

  • MUST be willing to work MST or PST hours
  • 6+ years of account management experience (Health Insurance or Healthcare) required
  • 5+ years project management experience required
  • 5+ years experience directly managing staff required
  • 5+ years Medicare OR Medicaid experience required
  • Active PMP - OR willing to obtain within 1 year of employment

What you should expect in this role

  • This is a full-time permanent regular salaried (W-2) employee position.
    • Monday through Friday work schedule (40 hours per week).
    • Travel may be required up to 25% for client meetings

  • For all hybrid and remote positions employees' Broadband Internet connections, should have a minimum speed of 24MBS download and 8 MBS upload.  Greater speeds will of course provide better performance.
  • Video cameras must be used during all interviews, as well as during the initial week of orientation if hired.
  • This position is intended for pipelining. We will accept applications on an ongoing basis or at least until June 19, 2025.

The pay range for this position is $80,000 - $120,000 per year, however, the base pay offered may vary depending on geographic region, internal equity, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience among other factors.
