Summary

Director Delivery Shared Services is an accountable delivery leader with deep expertise in Medicaid healthcare technology solutions and a comprehensive understanding of the SDLC and ITIL best practices for software delivery and support. This leader has a consistent track record of exceeding expectations for quality, velocity of solution delivery, and SLA attainment, with a measurable ability to maximize resource utilization and optimize profitability.

Your role in our mission

•    Partners with Vice President of Shared Services to create a new shared service team focused on one set of Medicaid solutions and services.
•    Sets direction to ensure accountable delivery on shared service commitments, collaborating across peer teams on governing process consistency and adherence.
•    Sets direction with direct report team, ensuring completion of work assignment and understanding of / adherence to established company policies and procedures.
•    Oversees business activities to ensure a high standard of professional excellence is maintained among staff members.
•    Directs business function including approval of overall project plan, budgets, and work breakdown structure.
•    Partners with Account Delivery, infrastructure, and Account leadership to address critical issues, including both appropriate delegation and direct hand-on involvement.
•    Establishes and implements short- and long-term strategies to deliver shared services to account delivery team within reasonable schedules and budgets.
•    Establishes and communicates goals and objectives, defines methodologies, tasks, and activities, and clearly describes roles and responsibilities for performing to personnel. 
•    Communicates broadly to help ensure overall coordination for cross-functional teams.
•    Works closely with Account Delivery to ensure client needs are met.
•    Works with Finance and Account Delivery to follow charge-back process and resource demand management.
•    Effectively integrates offshore resources into formal work management processes.
•    Effectively manages third-party staffing and COTS solution providers to Gainwell objectives.  

What we're looking for

  • Master's degree or equivalent combination of education and experience
  • Master's degree in related field preferred
  • Fifteen or more years of experience in healthcare software delivery and support
  • Ten or more years of experience in SDLC processes
  • Ten or more years of supervisory or management experience
  • Experience working with concepts, practices, and procedures related to software delivery and support
  • Experience working with the management of various forms of financial and budget tracking/adherence
  • Experience with departmental transformation, including people, process, and technology
  • Track record of accountable delivery of large project scope, within committed timeline and budget

What you should expect in this role

  • This position is 100% remote with up to 15% travel annually.

The pay range for this position is $127,400 - $182,000 per year, however, the base pay offered may vary depending on geographic region, internal equity, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience among other factors.
