Summary
The Director – Supply Chain Management is a strong leader and effective communicator who has a history of building successful teams, providing supply chain and outsourcing thought leadership, forging effective business relationships and driving business results. This is a hands-on role and perfect for an initiative-taker who will thrive in a dynamic and fast-growing environment. This individual possesses broad experience in Category Management, Procurement, and Outsourcing. They will be comfortable and proficient with working in the details but also sees the big picture and is a systematic thinker. Additionally, the ideal candidate consistently delivers with high quality, accuracy, completeness & timeliness and will have strong capabilities in financial analysis and modeling to understand and influence business performance. This leader is a team-player and coach the team with strong foundational skills and an ability to take the team and the business to a higher level.
Your role in our mission
- Strategize and Drive the Enterprise sourcing and procurement strategy for a network of product and service providers across Gainwell.
- Provide thought leadership to the enterprise on Outsourcing opportunities, risks and issues, governance, and local compliance.
- Partner with business functions to help define, implement, and continually improve vendor outsourcing strategies, tactics, and operations with strategic, preferred, and transactional vendors.
- Be a trusted, helpful, and engaging business partner to the organization to enable transparency, growth, profitability, and sound business decisions.
- Uphold a customer service approach to internal customers and stakeholders. Actively engage with senior executive leaders and support them with information, insights, and advice.
- Attract, retain, and develop talent, ensuring the needed capabilities for now, as well as future.
- Motivate and engage team with clear purpose and link to company’s mission and strategy, via functional strategy, clear goals, and connection to broader mission.
- Lead negotiations, in conjunction with operations, and partner with suppliers to ensure that Gainwell and its clients receive the best value.
- Identify and execute strategic and actionable projects within Gainwell to achieve Supplier Optimization delivering long-term financial and quality performance.
- Develops robust and actionable reporting from metrics, data analytics, surveys, and financial results.
- Maintain key relationships with Gainwell operations, clients, industry peers, and team members across all strategic client accounts. This includes utilization of an end-to-end supplier management program.
- Ensure governance, compliance, and risk management is in place and operating effectively. This includes use of systems to ensure Supply Chain aligns with delegation of authority, and records.
- Support Operations in identifying opportunities for improving the operational performance of the business through projects, education, and compliance.
- Develop, document, implement and train operations in service vendor management programs that incorporate sourcing plans, supplier balanced scorecards, quarterly business reviews, quality audits, and Request for Proposals (RFP) aligned to spend.
What we're looking for
- Master's degree or equivalent combination of education and experience
- Master's degree in related field preferred
- 15+ years of professional experience with at least 10+years of experience leading and managing high-performing finance team with the ability to drive and support change and transformation.
- Proven track record of managing enterprise and large sourcing deals with global outsourcing providers.
- Strong decision-making, critical thinking & problem-solving skills, excellent oral and written communication skills combined with the ability to maintain effective relationships internally and externally with a strong customer service orientation.
What you should expect in this role
- This role is 100% remote with some annual travel possible, not to exceed 30%.
The pay range for this position is $116,100.00 - $165,800.00 per year, however, the base pay offered may vary depending on geographic region, internal equity, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience among other factors.
