Summary

We are seeking an experienced Project Manager (PM) to lead a cross-functional Documentation Remediation initiative aimed at improving the accuracy, completeness, and compliance of critical business and technical documentation. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in project governance, process improvement, and stakeholder engagement, with a knack for bringing order to complex, document-heavy environments.

Your role in our mission

  • Plan, organize, and execute all phases of the documentation remediation project—from current-state assessment through final validation and approval.
  • Establish a project governance framework, including timelines, milestones, deliverables, and review cycles.
  • Partner with business owners, compliance, and technical teams to identify documentation gaps, redundancies, and inconsistencies.
  • Coordinate and manage document review and approval workflows, ensuring all content aligns with corporate standards, regulatory requirements, and version control protocols.
  • Oversee migration and archival efforts, ensuring documentation is stored in the appropriate systems (e.g., SharePoint, Confluence, Documentum).
  • Develop and maintain a comprehensive project tracker, status reports, and dashboards to communicate progress, risks, and decisions to leadership.
  • Lead remediation working sessions to facilitate collaboration between subject matter experts (SMEs), editors, and reviewers.
  • Manage dependencies with related initiatives (e.g., process standardization, compliance audits, or onboarding documentation efforts).
  • Identify and mitigate risks related to document integrity, accessibility, and compliance.
  • Drive continuous improvement, developing templates, style guides, and repeatable processes to sustain documentation quality long-term.

What we're looking for

  • 5+ years of experience in project management or program coordination, preferably in regulated or documentation-intensive industries (e.g., healthcare, technology, government services).
  • Proven ability to manage documentation or compliance remediation projects from initiation through close-out.
  • Strong understanding of document management systems, information governance, and content lifecycle best practices.
  • Exceptional skills in stakeholder engagement, communication, and prioritization.
  • Experience managing multiple workstreams and balancing short-term remediation efforts with long-term process improvements.
  • Proficiency in MS Project, Smartsheet, or other PM tools, and working knowledge of SharePoint or Confluence.
  • PMP or equivalent certification preferred.

What you should expect in this role

  • Remote position (US only)
  • Opportunities to travel through your work (0-10%)
  • Video cameras must be used during all interviews, as well as during the initial week of orientation
  • The deadline to submit applications for this posting is 1/30/2026
