Your role in our mission

  • Provide technical support during and after implementation of healthcare electronic data interchange (EDI) solutions.
  • Provides leadership and work guidance to less experienced personnel. Guides the work of less experienced developers to create, maintain and communicate details of application designs to ensure that designs are according to specifications.
  • Evaluating business processes, anticipating requirements, uncovering areas for improvement, and developing and implementing solutions.
  • Conduct analysis of EDI transactions, and are responsible for documentation and related reports.
  • You will be involved in the daily monitoring of file processing and troubleshooting of issues impacting successful receipt or delivery of client files.
  • Additionally, you will be responsible for the setup and support of file automation processes and jobs within the department.
  • Performing quality, user acceptance, and regression testing.
  • Identify process gaps and areas where improvements can be made.
  • Create, review, and maintain documentation related to EDI operations implementations and processes.
  • Monitor the production environment and proactively prioritize, communicate, and help to resolve any operational EDI process or system issues.

What we're looking for

  • 5 or more years of experience and understanding of the Healthcare EDI X12N transactions formats that govern healthcare Electronic Data Interchange (EDI), with in depth knowledge of and experience with HIPAA/EDI X12 5010 healthcare-related X12 transactions including 270-271, 276-277,277CA,277U, 278, 820, 834, 835, 837, 999.
  • Experience with data validation and translation/mapping software. Example: Edifecs Specbuilder; IBM Sterling Mapper.  Ability to modify existing EDI maps, create new EDI maps as needed, work with edit severity settings.
  • Experience in Unit, Quality Assurance, and Regression testing.
  • 5 or more years of experience providing technical support for ANSI X12 trading partners.
  • Healthcare experience required (Medicaid, Medicare).

The pay range for this position is $64,900.00 - $92,700.00 per year, however, the base pay offered may vary depending on geographic region, internal equity, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience among other factors.
