Your role in our mission

  • Leads product/service development for Gainwell’s Electronic Data Interchange as a Service (EDIaaS) Solution
  • The Product Manager will oversee product planning and execution throughout the product life cycle for highly complex engagements.
  • Serve as subject matter expert in the exploration of EDI product capabilities with team and other senior technical experts to determine product fit within the context of integrated technology solutions.
  • Defines product strategy and actively participates to the strategic direction of long-term EDI technology roadmap and designs new solutions to solve problems facing the organization.
  • Leads the development of new product / service ideas and the enhancement of existing products / services.
  • Leads the design, pricing and marketing of products and services to provide support for the full life cycle of products and product lines.
  • Provides oversight in the creation of technical models that serve as blueprints for project engagements of various complexities.
  • Analyzes, provides insight and prioritizes product and customer requirements, defines product vision and works closely with engineering and operations to oversee and approve product designs, enhancements and quality.
  • Establishes and oversees milestones and deliverables and coordinates completion of all aspects of the product deliverables.
  • Develops and manages relationships with senior management, customers, and development groups to serve as a primary point of contact to provide input on customer product and operational requirements.
  • Serves as subject matter expert with functional architects to ensure that product design and deployment meet client and company guidelines.
  • Supports relationships with partners, systems integrators, consultants, and professional services organizations to enhance client relationships and product sales.
  • Leads team in influencing client expectations and ensuring client satisfaction in area of responsibility and related issues.
  • Identifies issues or opportunities, determines course of action and implements same
  • Analyzes and provides insight into revenue forecast information.
  • Implements changes or adjusts in other products or service based upon the information.
  • Negotiates agreements with vendors in support of product development objectives.
  • Maintains awareness of market trends and competitive offerings and the competitive landscape
  • Leads and interfaces with customers and sales organization to drive product direction and ensure capabilities meet market needs and customer satisfaction goals.
  • Evaluates in-depth market analysis and leads business case for optimization of existing products/service alternatives and/or to create the next generation of new products.
  • Keeps abreast of new technologies and recommends those that would enhance staff and the use of technology to perform EDI functions more effectively.
  • Works with client business and technology requirements and company software as a service product and services.

 

What we're looking for

  • 10+ years of experience in product management and/or consulting
  • 5+ years of experience in Healthcare EDI platforms, including deployment of a platform that includes multiple stakeholders.
  • Must be experienced with HIPAA X12 EDI solutions and ideally Medicaid.
  • Experience delivering solutions to complex health care organization – either in an internal or external service provider role
  • Experience working with product systems design principles, including Agile methodology.

The pay range for this position is $118,800.00 - $169,700.00 per year, however, the base pay offered may vary depending on geographic region, internal equity, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience among other factors.
