Your role in our mission
- Managing software development SDLC using Agile methodology
- Identification and mitigation of impediments
- Identifying resource needs, and managing scope/resources/priorities
- Manage team members and provide coaching/mentoring
- Manage all aspects of work to achieve milestones and product release dates
- Collaborate with Product Managers, Product Owners, Release Train Engineers, and scrum teams globally to ensure quality and timely delivery of product release/patches/change requests
- Manage and lead a software engineering team of cross-functional individual contributors
- Communicate effectively with stakeholders on matters of deliverable, routine tasks and escalations
- Report on work status and Key Performance Indicators (KPIs); conduct Root Cause Analysis to improve team behaviors/processes
- Coordinate with other leaders to identify and address cross module gaps
- Perform project activity and financial planning, tracking, and oversight to ensure project(s) are completed on schedule and within budget.
- Point of contact with stakeholders on the projects within the assigned modules.
- Creates/implements project definitions, schedules, budgets, and objectives for projects.
- Prepares statements of work for project engagements and monitors performance.
- Determines need for and impact of changes in scope of project and makes recommendation based on determinations.
- Gains concurrence, approval, and consensus from stakeholders regarding the various project aspects.
- Manages costs/schedules/quality by overseeing project deliverables
- Performs ongoing review of project status; identifies project risks. Develops, recommends and implements risk mitigation solutions as approved and as appropriate.
- Interfaces with team members and stakeholders to anticipate/manage changes to projects (technical/business requirement, schedules, etc.
- Develops and makes presentations that could lead to expanded business opportunities. Participates in proposal efforts and sales calls to enhance opportunities for future business deals with client.
What we're looking for
- 5+ years of experience as an Engineering Manager, managing and mentoring teams of 12+ members, with a focus on resource management, talent development, and team performance
- 7+ years in Technical Leadership or Project/Program Management overseeing large-scale projects and cross-functional teams
- 5+ years using scaled Agile methodologies, driving Agile adoption and improvements
- 3+ years as a Software Developer, Engineer, or Architect, with hands-on technical expertise
- 5+ years managing project and organizational financials, including budgeting and resource allocation

The pay range for this position is $93,400.00 - $133,400.00 per year, however, the base pay offered may vary depending on geographic region, internal equity, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience among other factors.
