Your role in our mission

Direct your attention to the technology and application landscape, emphasizing a comprehensive view of the entire account.
Gain insights into all technology platforms in use, and assess the risks linked to the current software version levels.
Obtain a thorough understanding of applications, the underlying software, their versions, and the integration/security strategies employed.
Initiate the development of a roadmap, pinpointing critical infrastructure or software that is outdated, requires updates, or is challenging to maintain within the environment.
Organize and establish a vision to propel the projects forward.
Conducts technical research, testing, evaluation and documentation of moderately complex hosting/configuration tools and methodologies to ensure that tools are current and functional.
Creates application architectures and populates an application host/configuration matrices with appropriate strategies, timelines, and cost information to increase cost efficiency and effectiveness.
Coordinates with application developers, managers and customer application experts to ensure that required features and modifications are included in the appropriates releases to support cross-product features and to communicate architectural designs and standards.
Designs application modules that work together to produce desired product. Ensures that completed modules provide functionality described by application experts and to ensure that performance guidelines are met.
Plans technical support infrastructure through the creation of service level agreements; leads the transition from application development to support to ensure that appropriate support is available to clients in a timely and efficient manner.
Provides high-level analysis and design reviews to other department members to avoid duplication of effort in solving the same application problems with different products.
Works with third party vendors to develop and/or integrate their applications into company products; ensures that applications are in accordance with company product standards and guidelines.
Works with product development teams and senior designers to develop architectural requirements to ensure client satisfaction with product.

What we're looking for

8+ years of application architecture and/or product development experience
- Decision Support Systems: Proficiency in designing and managing decision support system architectures.
- Data Management and ETL: Experience with IBM DataStage for efficient data flows and Extract, Transform, Load (ETL) processes.
- Database Expertise: Familiarity with various data formats and database systems including Oracle, SQL Server, and Vertica.
- File Transfer Technology: Competency in file transfer technologies such as SFTP, FTP, and MOVEit.
- Cloud and Infrastructure Knowledge: Understanding of Amazon Web Services (AWS) Cloud Architecture, REST API, Web Application Servers (Apache Tomcat), and a general grasp of Mainframe systems.

What you should expect in this role

Remote position open to candidates located within the United States, with availability to work during Pacific Time Zone hours.

NOTE: Video cameras must be used during all interviews, as well as during the initial week of orientation.

The pay range for this position is $101,700.00 - $145,300.00 per year, however, the base pay offered may vary depending on geographic region, internal equity, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience among other factors.
