Your role in our mission

 

  • Work closely with analysts and engineers to deploy solutions in batch and real-time while systematically tracking model performance.
  • Build complex data sets and flows from multiple data sources using SQL, Python, Spark and SSRS.
  • Use data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, PowerBI) to share ongoing insights.
  • Present findings to both technical and non-technical audiences.
  • Assist engagements with key business stakeholders in a discussion on business opportunities.
  • Be an evangelist driving wider adoption of analytics across the enterprise.
  • Deliver data science projects delivering innovative technical solutions improving healthcare outcomes.
  • Design, develop, test, validate, and deploy Machine Learning (ML) /Statistical models to not only learn from our vast amounts of data but to build new products.

What we're looking for

  • Knowledge of medical, institutional and pharmacy/drug data elements. (ICD, Medi-span, First Data Bank-FDB).
  • Ability to liaise with Medicaid stakeholders including the Clients, Product Teams, Engineering and Data teams.
  • 5+ years of experience in leading complex data science projects from requirements through design, development, testing and production, end-to-end.
  • Experience using Databricks solutions within the cloud (AWS or Azure) using an Agile framework.
  • 2+ years of industry experience in Data Science/Machine Learning as a data scientist/technical lead developing ML models with a business impact, along with 5+ years of hands-on, industry experience with data & languages such as e.g., SQL, Python, R, SAS.

What you should expect in this role

  • This position is primarily remote, travel once per month to Columbus, OH may be required.
  • Work Hours: Eastern Time Zone

The pay range for this position is $95,100.00 - $135,800.00 per year, however, the base pay offered may vary depending on geographic region, internal equity, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience among other factors.
