Summary

As an ​Experienced Project Manager at Gainwell, you will be responsible for overseeing the planning, execution, and successful delivery of complex projects within our organization. Leveraging your extensive project management experience and leadership skills, you will drive cross-functional teams to achieve project objectives while ensuring adherence to timelines, budgets, and quality standards. This role requires strategic thinking, effective communication, and the ability to navigate challenges to deliver exceptional results.

Your role in our mission

1. Project Planning and Strategy:

  • Develop and refine project plans, defining scope, objectives, deliverables, and milestones in alignment with organizational goals.
  • Conduct comprehensive risk assessments and develop mitigation strategies to minimize project risks and optimize outcomes.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to establish project priorities, resource allocation, and strategic direction.

2. Team Leadership and Management:

  • Lead and motivate cross-functional project teams, providing guidance, support, and direction throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Foster a collaborative and high-performance team culture, encouraging innovation, problem-solving, and continuous improvement.
  • Delegate tasks effectively, monitor progress, and address any issues or conflicts that may arise within the team.

3. Stakeholder Engagement and Communication:

  • Serve as the primary point of contact for stakeholders, maintaining regular communication and managing expectations regarding project scope, timelines, and deliverables.
  • Facilitate stakeholder meetings, workshops, and presentations to gather requirements, provide updates, and solicit feedback on project progress.
  • Ensure transparent and timely communication across all levels of the organization, fostering trust and alignment among project stakeholders.

4. Project Execution and Delivery:

  • Monitor project execution against established plans, identifying and addressing deviations, risks, and dependencies in a proactive manner.
  • Implement project management best practices, tools, and methodologies to optimize project performance and ensure adherence to quality standards.
  • Track project metrics, analyze performance data, and provide regular updates to senior leadership on project status, risks, and opportunities.

What we're looking for

  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field; Project Management Professional (PMP) certification preferred.
  • 8 years of experience in project management, with a proven track record of successfully delivering large and complex projects on time and within budget.
  • Experience using MS Project for project scheduling.
  • Exposure to API based system (REST or SOAP) and File transfer solutions. 
  • Experience with Medicaid Management Information System (MMIS) is a plus.

The pay range for this position is $86,800.00 - $124,000.00 per year, however, the base pay offered may vary depending on geographic region, internal equity, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience among other factors.
