Summary

As an Information Systems Security Officer at Gainwell, you will be a part of an innovative healthcare technology company with a mission to serve the healthcare needs of our communities. You will use your network testing and network management skills to drive the development of healthcare administration products used, and relied upon, by millions of patients. The ISL helps understand operational issues and plans next steps from an information security viewpoint.

Your role in our mission

Oversees the development and implementation of corporate-wide application security procedures in client environments to meet corporate and government regulations.
Ensures that application security procedures meet business requirements and that information is safeguarded against unauthorized use, disclosure or modification, and damage or loss.
Oversees the implementation of appropriate access controls to ensure that access to systems, data and programs is restricted to authorized and trained users.
Oversees the destruction of highly sensitive confidential information in accordance with policies and procedures.
Compliance and operational focused.
Lead Security operational governance activities.
Dedicated or Shared (Industry).
Multi-3rd party services.
Ensuring delivery excellence in security tooling and business operations (Ensuring avoidance of non-performance / non-compliance contractual penalties).

What we're looking for

Experience working in a risk management, audit, security or technical delivery role
Bachelor or master degree in Computer Science, Computer Studies, Information Security (or equivalent combination of education and experience)
Knowledge of the security and auditing regulations
Experience in IT outsourcing business or 5+ years in industry vertical
CISSP certification, CISM/CISA or CRISC a plus
Experience with HIPAA, NIST, and FedRAMP a plus

What you should expect in this role

Fully Remote Opportunity with the option to work anywhere within the United States
Opportunities to travel through your work (0-10%)
Video cameras must be used during all interviews, as well as during the initial week of orientation

The pay range for this position is $97,300 - $139,900 per year, however, the base pay offered may vary depending on geographic region, internal equity, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience among other factors.
