Summary

We are seeking a proactive and service-oriented Field Representative to support our Medicaid operations. This role involves conducting outreach to Medicaid members, engaging with community partners, and ensuring members have access to the services and benefits they’re entitled to. You’ll be a key liaison between the organization, providers, and Medicaid-eligible populations.

Your role in our mission

  • Conduct in-person visits to members, community organizations, and healthcare providers within assigned regions.

  • Educate members on Medicaid benefits, eligibility, enrollment, and care coordination services.

  • Assist individuals with completing applications and redeterminations, resolving access or coverage issues.

  • Represent the organization at health fairs, enrollment drives, and community events.

  • Partner with internal departments to escalate issues related to member care or eligibility.

  • Ensure compliance with all Medicaid policies, privacy laws (HIPAA), and organizational procedures.

  • Maintain accurate and timely documentation of all field activities using internal systems.

  • Identify and report social determinants of health (SDOH) barriers and coordinate solutions or referrals.

What we're looking for

  • High school diploma or GED required; associate or bachelor’s degree in healthcare, public health, social work, or related field preferred.

  • 1–3 years of experience in healthcare, Medicaid programs, case management, outreach, or community health work.

  • Familiarity with Medicaid eligibility and services.

  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills; bilingual preferred (if applicable).

  • Ability to work independently in the field with minimal supervision.

  • Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation required.

  • Proficient in Microsoft Office and/or electronic health record systems

What you should expect in this role

  • Knowledge of local community resources and healthcare providers.

  • Experience working with vulnerable populations.

  • Previous experience in member engagement, field-based case work, or enrollment assistance.

  • They need to have a valid driver's license

The pay range for this position is $56,300.00 - $80,400.00 per year, however, the base pay offered may vary depending on geographic region, internal equity, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience among other factors.
