The Lead Business Analyst is responsible for eliciting, analyzing, and documenting business requirements for software development projects. This role involves working closely with stakeholders, end-users, project managers, and developers to ensure that software applications are designed to meet business needs. The BA will help translate business objectives into technical solutions and support the software development lifecycle from inception to implementation.

Your role in our mission

  1. Requirement Gathering and Analysis
    Meet with stakeholders to understand business needs.
    Document functional and non-functional requirements.
    Work with stakeholders to clarify and prioritize requirements.
  2. Business Process Evaluation
    Review current processes to identify improvements.
    Recommend more efficient workflows and solutions.
    Align business needs with software functionality.
  3. Collaboration with Development Teams
    Partner with developers designers and QA to confirm alignment with requirements.
    Join design discussions and give input.
    Act as a bridge between technical and non-technical teams.
  4. Documentation
    Prepare business requirement documents functional specs and user stories.
    Create process flows and system documentation.
    Develop user guides and training materials when needed.
  5. Testing and Quality Assurance
    Support user acceptance testing.
    Identify and report issues and work with teams on resolutions.
    Assist end users during testing and go live.
  6. Stakeholder Management
    Build strong relationships with business and IT partners.
    Provide updates on progress challenges and next steps.
    Keep communication clear throughout the project.
  7. Project Management Support
    Help with project planning tracking and deliverables.
    Support timeline resource and risk management.
    Report on status changes and milestones.
  8. Change Management
    Assist with reviewing and managing change requests.
    Provide impact and risk analysis for proposed changes.
    Help stakeholders make informed decisions.

What we're looking for

  • 6+ years of experience as a Business Analyst in Software Application Development.
  • Strong understanding of Software Development Lifecycles (SDLC), including Agile and Waterfall Methodologies.
  • Proficiency in Requirement-Gathering Techniques, Process Mapping, and Documentation.
  • Experience with Business Analysis Tools such as Jira, Confluence, Visio, etc.
  • Healthcare and/or Pharmacy knowledge is required.
  • Knowledge of Specific Software Systems or Industries (finance, healthcare, etc.) is a plus.

 

Preferred Certifications:

  • Certified Business Analysis Professional (CBAP)
  • PMI Professional in Business Analysis (PMI-PBA)
  • Agile Certified Practitioner (PMI-ACP) or similar Agile certification

The pay range for this position is $69,400.00 - $99,200.00 per year, however, the base pay offered may vary depending on geographic region, internal equity, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience among other factors.
