Your role in our mission

This position is a contractually required role for the Medi‑Cal MMIS account for the Department of Health Care Services.
The Medical Supply Specialist is responsible for responding to referrals from DHCS within 4 hours of notification.
Reviewing policy and attending meetings with DHCS.
Processing claims requiring medical review expertise and responding to referrals from internal departments.

What we're looking for

Active California RN license required.
Experience with medical supplies.
Experience in the healthcare industry, including insurance, provider support, and business analysis.
Attention to detail and strong organizational skills.
Ability to work independently, create and/or follow project schedules, and meet internal timelines, client deadlines, and delivery expectations.

What you should expect in this role

Must be a resident of the state of California and within 35 miles of the state capitol.
Primarily remote work, with occasional onsite meetings, special training, or other business needs. The office is located in West Sacramento.
Reliable high‑speed internet connectivity is required.
Highly collaborative and interactive team environment.
Accountability for individual work assignments and projects.

The pay range for this position is $75,000.00 - $98,700.00 per year, however, the base pay offered may vary depending on geographic region, internal equity, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience among other factors.
