Summary

The NMT Processor supports Medi-Cal Beneficiaries by coordinating transportation for eligible medical-related appointments. These include doctor visits, prescription pickups, physical therapy, and other approved services. The role ensures timely, accurate processing of transportation requests in alignment with DHCS guidelines and Gainwell’s service standards.

Your role in our mission

Review and process incoming NMT requests submitted via email, fax, or other approved channels.
Validate beneficiary eligibility and appointment details in accordance with program criteria.
Coordinate with transportation providers to schedule rides, confirm availability, and ensure timely service.
Document all request details and outcomes in the designated system per Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
Respond to inquiries from beneficiaries, providers, and internal teams regarding NMT services.

What we're looking for

High school diploma or GED required.
Minimum 6 months of customer service or administrative experience; healthcare or transportation coordination preferred.
Strong attention to detail and ability to follow structured processes.
Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Outlook, Teams) and internet browsers.
Experience navigating case management or help desk systems is a plus.

The pay range for this position is $44,800.00 - $64,000.00 per year, however, the base pay offered may vary depending on geographic region, internal equity, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience among other factors.
