Summary
As a Pharmacy Services Supervisor at Gainwell Technologies, you will lead pharmacy operations teams supporting Medicaid and Pharmacy Benefit Management (PBM) programs. This role is responsible for ensuring operational excellence across provider and member support, prior authorization services, pharmacy claims operations, quality initiatives, and service delivery while maintaining compliance with contractual requirements, service level agreements, and regulatory standards.
Your role in our mission
- Supervise daily pharmacy operations supporting provider and member call center services, prior authorization functions, pharmacy claims review activities, and related operational workflows.
- Lead, coach, develop, and evaluate team members while overseeing hiring, onboarding, training, performance management, and employee development activities.
- Monitor productivity, quality, attendance, staffing levels, KPIs, SLAs, and operational performance metrics to ensure contractual obligations are consistently achieved.
- Collaborate with pharmacy leadership, quality teams, training staff, clients, and business partners to support process improvements, operational initiatives, and compliance requirements.
- Support reporting, audit readiness, documentation maintenance, issue resolution, and special projects while fostering a culture of accountability, service excellence, and continuous improvement.
What we're looking for
- 3+ years of experience in managed care, Medicaid, PBM, pharmacy operations, healthcare call center operations, prior authorization, or related healthcare environments.
- 2+ years of leadership experience supervising, coaching, mentoring, training, or managing operational teams.
- Experience managing performance metrics, productivity goals, quality standards, KPIs, SLAs, staffing levels, and operational reporting.
- Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite, including Excel, reporting tools, and operational systems.
- Experience supporting Medicaid pharmacy claims processing, prior authorization programs, pharmacy operations, or healthcare services preferred.

The pay range for this position is $55,500.00 - $79,300.00 per year, however, the base pay offered may vary depending on geographic region, internal equity, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience among other factors.
