Summary

The Pharmacy Solutions Product Director is responsible for overseeing the execution of the enterprise product development roadmap delivering new and enhanced Pharmacy Solutions capabilities. The product Director manages and guides a team of Product Owners and Business Analysts responsible for the managing the delivery of Pharmacy Solutions product roadmaps, The Product Director supports Pharmacy Center of Excellence go-to-market and operations activities by providing subject matter support and updates on roadmap progress and ensuring that product development/enhancements are aligned with key strategies and client/market needs.

Your role in our mission

  • Provides development SME support in the creation of the strategic plan and conveys the vision, manages change and motivates others to ensure the success of the company goals.
  • Applies deep and broad knowledge and understanding of industry and technology advances and predicts the business impacts of engineering decisions across multiple disciplines.
  • Assists in the analysis of opportunities and development of concept documentation including high level business requirements.
  • Integrates strategic direction into Product Roadmap planning and management.
  • Establishes and maintains the product roadmap based on situational awareness of the business scenario.
  • Collaborates with internal product and other senior technical leadership and articulates the company's product vision, setting the course for continued development and growth.
  • Interacts with technical  and operational leadership to  address development issues impacting progress.
  • Works with Pharmacy Center of Excellence performance teams to review existing cost and operational performance and recommends and implements improvements.
  • As needed participates in the tracking and reporting product of development and enhancement process.
  • Provides guidance and direction in support of business solution architecture enabling go-to-market planning and sales support as needed.
  • Supports development and maintenance of product marketing materials.
  • Supports RFP solution identification and response documentation by provided SME support.
  • Assists in the creation of materials to support client / prospect demonstrations and discussions.
  • Supports the development of detailed business requirements using standard tools and processes.
  • Communicates broadly to ensure overall coordination of goals and objectives, defines methodologies, tasks and activities for cross-functional teams.
  • Clearly sets roles and responsibilities for personnel and serves as a mentor to team members in the development of business analysis deliverables.
  • Uses professional concepts in developing resolution to critical issues and broad design matters.

What we're looking for

  • Master's degree or equivalent combination of education and experience 
  • Fifteen or more years of experience with technical product design, configuration, integration, and/or delivering products to health care markets 
  • Five or more years in a supervisory or management capacity, preferred
  • Experience with the product development life cycle at all levels of complexity 
  • Experience working with client enterprise products, services, and strategies, technical products, vendors, families of technologies and product configurations 
  • Experience working with healthcare technology architecture, mainframes, scheduling software and other related technologies 
  • Experience with healthcare industry, business environment, business industry and awareness of competitor products and services 
  • Experience leading teams using Agile Product Development practices 
  • Experience in business process and information modeling tools and techniques

  • This opportunity is 100% remote within the United States with travel up to 10% annually.

The pay range for this position is $137,100.00 - $195,800.00 per year, however, the base pay offered may vary depending on geographic region, internal equity, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience among other factors.
