Summary
Seeking a highly skilled, self‑driven Principal Java Full Stack Architect with deep expertise in designing and delivering scalable enterprise applications. This role requires mastery of modern Java frameworks, UI technologies, cloud-native architecture, microservices, and DevOps practices. The architect will collaborate closely with engineering, product, and infrastructure teams to drive technology decisions, architecture governance, and product excellence.

Architecture & Design
- Design end‑to‑end architecture for complex enterprise applications using Java, Spring Boot, Microservices, and modern front‑end frameworks such as React/Angular.
- Architect cloud‑ready and cloud‑native solutions leveraging AWS/Azure, containers, OpenShift, Kubernetes, CI/CD pipelines, and API‑driven integrations.
- Define technical roadmaps, architectural blueprints, coding standards, and design guidelines for engineering teams.
- Evaluate and recommend scalable patterns across backend, frontend, data, and integration layers.
- Build robust application modules ensuring high performance, availability, resiliency, and security.
Full Stack Engineering Leadership
- Provide hands‑on leadership in Java backend engineering, UI development, API design, and system integrations.
- Guide teams in implementing microservices, event‑driven architectures, modular UI applications, and reusable frameworks.
- Review and approve critical design decisions, solution implementations, and architectural deviations.
Collaboration & Coordination
- Work with developers, product managers, architects, and business stakeholders to ensure alignment with functional and non‑functional requirements.
- Lead cross‑team architectural initiatives, standardizing patterns and ensuring best practices across engineering groups.
- Collaborate with senior designers and technical SMEs to translate business needs into scalable designs.
- Serve as a key interface for vendor‑provided tools, frameworks, or technology components.
Support, Governance & Quality
- Establish performance, security, and coding standards for full‑stack applications.
- Provide architecture reviews, design assessments, and code reviews across multiple teams.
- Lead technical support transitions, ensuring smooth deployment, maintenance, and operational readiness.
- Create and govern SLAs, system health metrics, and operational guidelines.
Technology Evaluation
- Evaluate emerging full‑stack frameworks, cloud services, DevOps tools, and security practices for potential adoption.
- Recommend modern engineering solutions aligned with enterprise standards.
Leadership
- Mentor and guide full‑stack engineers, senior developers, and junior architects.
- Provide technical leadership in solutioning, delivery planning, and engineering excellence initiatives.
What we're looking for
- 12+ years of experience in application architecture, full‑stack solution design, and enterprise product development.
- Strong expertise in:
- Java, Spring Boot, Microservices, REST APIs, Messaging
- Front-end Frameworks (REact or Angular)
- Cloud platforms (AWS/Azure), OpenShift, Kubernestes, Docker, Movelt
- CI / CD pipelines, Argo CD, GitHub / Jenkins, DevOps practices
- RDBMS / NoSQL databases, caching, distributed systems
- Application performance tunning and optimization
- SDLC, Agile practices, and large-scale solution delivery
- Strong analytical, design, and problem-solving abilities.
- Deep understanding of full‑stack architectures and cloud-native patterns.
- Ability to lead engineering teams and influence cross‑functional stakeholders.
- Excellent communication and technical documentation skills.

The pay range for this position is $118,800.00 - $169,700.00 per year, however, the base pay offered may vary depending on geographic region, internal equity, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience among other factors.
