Summary
As a Process Writer Intern- CX, you’ll help our team capture how work gets done so we can make it clearer, faster, and better. You’ll get hands‑on experience documenting business processes, creating workflows, and supporting real improvement projects in a healthcare technology environment. This role is perfect for students interested in process improvement, operations, or business analysis.
Your role in our mission
- Observe and document current‑state business processes by shadowing SMEs and asking clarifying questions.
- Assist in developing and maintaining Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), Desktop Level Procedures (DLPs), and other process documentation.
- Create and update process maps, swimlane diagrams, and workflow visuals using tools such as Microsoft Visio.
- Support Lean Six Sigma Green Belt and Black Belt projects through data gathering, time studies, and workflow analysis.
- Contribute to process review sessions, workshops, and cross‑functional meetings to identify opportunities for clarity and improvement.
- Perform basic quality reviews to ensure documentation is accurate, complete, and aligned with internal standards.
What we're looking for
- Students are currently pursuing a bachelor’s degree in STEM, healthcare, business, or a related discipline.
- Exposure to or interest in process documentation, technical/business writing, or process improvement methodologies.
- Familiarity with workflow or diagramming tools (e.g., Microsoft Visio) is a plus.
- Strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and the ability to break down complex information clearly.
- Comfort interacting with multiple stakeholders and asking questions to ensure accuracy.
- Curiosity, professionalism, and a desire to learn within a collaborative team environment.
What you should expect in this role
- Paid Summer Internship - $20.00 per hour. Timeline: May 19, 2026 - August 7, 2026 (12-week program, 40 hours per week).
- Hybrid opportunity in Dallas, TX or El Paso, TX - Candidate must reside in the target areas and vicinity (30 miles around).

The pay range for this position is $31,200.00 - $37,450.00 per year, however, the base pay offered may vary depending on geographic region, internal equity, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience among other factors.
