Your role in our mission

 

  • Define and manage the product roadmap for federal and state Medicaid reporting, ensuring alignment with CMS and state-specific requirements and with leadership’s short- and long-term goals.
  • Collaborate with data, compliance, and policy teams to develop clear reporting standards, templates, and requirements for Medicaid.
  • Oversee the design, testing, and deployment of reporting tools, dashboards, and processes to streamline federal and state reporting.
  • Stay updated on Medicaid reporting mandates and ensure all reporting aligns with federal and state regulations.
  • Act as a liaison between product development and delivery teams to ensure timely, accurate data reporting.
  • Partner with cross-functional teams including IT, engineering, analytics, and compliance to align project goals and timelines.
  • Collaborate with both external clients and internal teams to identify and prioritize reporting challenges
  • Act as a liaison between engineering, data science, and healthcare stakeholders to drive product success.
  • Maintain and prioritize a product backlog to ensure a focus on high-value features, balancing short-term needs with long-term goals.
  • Translate complex healthcare challenges into actionable user stories and features.
  • Define, monitor, and maintain a set of product-related metrics/KPIs to define success and measure progress against it.
  • Identify opportunities to innovate and differentiate our products in the market.
  • Partner with training and support teams to develop comprehensive user documentation and training resources.
  • Prioritize product features and enhancements based on market research, customer feedback, and business priorities.
  • Pare down capabilities, features, enhancements, into clear requirements and enter Microsoft ADO
  • Meet with engineering regularly to groom backlog and guide demos.
  • Collaborate with engineering, design, and data teams to ensure timely and high-quality product delivery.
  • Ensure products are scalable, reliable, and meet performance standards.
  • Analytical mindset with the ability to translate technical requirements into actionable product features.
  • Advocate for the use of AI and machine learning to enhance product suite
  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of healthcare regulations, including HIPAA, HITECH, and CMS guidelines.

What we're looking for

 

  • 7+ years of experience as a Senior Product Manager or Product Owner in the healthcare industry, with demonstrated success managing the full application lifecycle from concept to deployment and support.
  • Demonstrated ability to drive strategy, contribute to product roadmaps, and manage outcome-focused backlogs, with strong verbal and written communication and stakeholder engagement skills.
  • Strongly Preferred: Extensive knowledge of CMS and state Medicaid reporting (e.g., CMS 64/21, 416, 372, T-MSIS, HEDIS, PERM) with deep understanding of Medicaid and CMS requirements.
  • Preferred: Background working with Medicaid datasets, regulatory reporting, Managed Care Organizations (MCOs), Medicaid Management Information Systems (MMIS), Medicaid claims and/or financial modular processing systems, among others.
  • Preferred: Proficiency with data tools and methodologies, including SQL, Tableau/Power BI, Agile, DevOps, and cloud platforms such as Databricks, Snowflake, AWS, or Azure.
  • Experience navigating large organizations, using design and collaboration tools, technical writing, and thriving in fast-paced, cross-functional teams.

The pay range for this position is $108,000 - $155,000 per year, however, the base pay offered may vary depending on geographic region, internal equity, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience among other factors.
