Summary
As a Professional Accountant at Gainwell, you will assist the Revenue team with monthly revenue and billing entries, create and update reporting, and assist with reconciliations. This is a fully remote team that requires good communication skills and team commitment to complete our monthly, quarterly and annual goals.
Your role in our mission
- Assist with accrual and invoice entries, including outreach to business teams.
- Assist in the creation and updating of monthly, quarterly and annual reporting, mostly in Excel spreadsheets.
- Assists with variance analysis and account reconciliation.
- Assists with internal and external audit requests and questions.
- Will learn and comply with HIPPA privacy and security rules.
- Will be a team player, able to communicate clearly with all levels of co-workers but able to work independently.
- May need to work extended time during monthly close in order to meet deadlines.
What we're looking for
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance or related field preferred.
- Three (3) or more years of experience in accounting or finance with a focus on revenue preferred.
- Proficient in working in spreadsheets with Pivot tables and multiple formulas.
- Good communication skills.
- Previous experience or willingness to learn PeopleSoft.

- Monday through Friday work schedule (40 hours per week).

The pay range for this position is $60,000 - $70,000 per year, however, the base pay offered may vary depending on geographic region, internal equity, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience among other factors.
