Summary

As a Professional Accountant at Gainwell, you will assist the Revenue team with monthly revenue and billing entries, create and update reporting, and assist with reconciliations. This is a fully remote team that requires good communication skills and team commitment to complete our monthly, quarterly and annual goals.

Your role in our mission

Assist with accrual and invoice entries, including outreach to business teams.
Assist in the creation and updating of monthly, quarterly and annual reporting, mostly in Excel spreadsheets.
Assists with variance analysis and account reconciliation.
Assists with internal and external audit requests and questions.
Will learn and comply with HIPPA privacy and security rules.
Will be a team player, able to communicate clearly with all levels of co-workers but able to work independently.
May need to work extended time during monthly close in order to meet deadlines.

What we're looking for

Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance or related field preferred.
Three (3) or more years of experience in accounting or finance with a focus on revenue preferred.
Proficient in working in spreadsheets with Pivot tables and multiple formulas.
Good communication skills.
Previous experience or willingness to learn PeopleSoft.

This is a full-time permanent regular salaried (W-2) employee position.
Monday through Friday work schedule (40 hours per week).

Video cameras must be used during all interviews, as well as during the initial week of orientation if hired.

The pay range for this position is $60,000 - $70,000 per year, however, the base pay offered may vary depending on geographic region, internal equity, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience among other factors.
