In this position you will provide technical support for Medicaid eligibility systems, ensuring operational continuity. You will also diagnose, document, and resolve system defects related to eligibility determination. Then collaborate with stakeholders to test and implement system updates and patches. Here are the details on this position.

Your role in our mission

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist in identifying and documenting technical requirements for eligibility determination systems.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve user-reported issues, including eligibility errors and processing delays.
  • Support user acceptance testing (UAT) for new system releases, patches, and updates including create test cases and executions for system enhancements and bug fixes.
  • Validate that eligibility rules and logic adhere to CMS policies and state requirements.
  • Improved accuracy in eligibility determinations and enhanced user satisfaction. 

Key Deliverables:

  • Detailed insights into eligibility trends, root causes of errors, and compliance metrics.
  • Test cases validating data accuracy for eligibility rules and system changes.
  • Improved accuracy and timeliness of eligibility determinations.
  • Enhanced user satisfaction with data-driven issue resolution. 

What we're looking for

  • Three or more years of Business Analyst experience in healthcare related industry translating technical goals and requirements into real action for clients.
  • Medicaid, Medicare, or Insurance experience is a plus
  • Knowledge in Technical Support and Troubleshooting system issues, interfaces, and eligibility logic.
  • Advanced knowledge in Microsoft Excel and other software for conducting quantitative analysis 
  • Proficiency with SQL and troubleshooting tools for system and data errors
  • Familiarity with IT Systems Development, Testing (including User Acceptance Testing), and Lifecycle Deployment processes including strong analytical and business process re-engineering skills
  • Strong written and oral communication and presentation skills to deliver messages to business leaders, clients and technical personnel
  • An influencer and team player who that motivates others to action and communicates key technical ideas in a digestible way

The pay range for this position is $51,900.00 - $74,200.00 per year, however, the base pay offered may vary depending on geographic region, internal equity, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience among other factors.
