Summary

 

We are looking for someone who can assist with leading projects being developed using the IBM DataStage tool. Someone that can mentor and train new DataStage developers. This person must be team oriented and self-motivated as well be able to take direction from more experienced team members, project team and client. Performs assigned ETL activities and performs analysis on data to ensure accuracy of code and results generated. Determines best practices and provides suggestions on how to improve the current coding or data extraction.  The candidate is expected to be able to develop program code based on technical specifications. 
 

Your role in our mission

 

•    Creates and execute accurate ETL process.
•    Uses existing experience in healthcare to drive processes
•    Supports the ETL team with projects and activities
•    Presents analysis and design recommendations to project leads or customer into the acceptance of the design.
•    Works closely with the Azure and DBA team to ensure synchronicity of configuration to interfaces and mappings.
•    Keeps accurate documentation for deliverables; Updates technical specifications and mappings as changes occur.
•    Uses SQL, data models, data element dictionary and schema to perform data and business analysis.
•    Creates unit test cases for area of responsibility.
•    Validates test plan results that satisfy the detailed design goals.
•    Supports Unit Testing, System Integration Testing, System Testing, and User Acceptance Testing.

 

What we're looking for

 

•    IBM DataStage – 3-5 years developing DataStage packages
•    Strong SQL with both PL-SQL and T-SQL experience – 4-6 years
•    UNIX Operating System - 4-6 years
•    Databases - Oracle, SQL Server - 4-6 years
•    Data warehousing concepts and Knowledge of the Azure cloud platform

What you should expect in this role

 

•    Work remotely within the United States.
•    10% or less in Travel

 

The pay range for this position is $58,200.00 - $83,200.00 per year, however, the base pay offered may vary depending on geographic region, internal equity, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience among other factors.
